I do miss her. I didn't want to say that as folk are constantly writing it when we have to move forward. But she was so sweet. She loved to be independent and on her own even with other dogs. I read a few articles in preparation for my other boy, Opie, to cope. Kept coming across this primal howl that canines will let out when they're alone and know that a sibling has passed. First time I had to leave him alone...I checked the camera and I'll be damned. It was so sad, haunting, and beautiful all at once. He's doing much better now; Bax lives on in our memories.
