Interestingly the first time I've ever seen Federal's clutch mechanism prove its worth during operation. I'm glad they took that approach as opposed to just letting the gears strip or belt snap.

That’s why 508s are great sirens. It is loud from that distance even in the wind and the rotator clutch does the job. Great vid!

I was shopping with my dad in Naperville and we had I bad storm coming and it was hurricane force winds and as we were heading home during the storm we stopped at a light and I noticed one on the brown painted Naperville 2001s spin so fast cause the wind was so strong just like the 508 in the video the winds was going about 50 or 60 miles per hour but at first I fought the 2001 was about to go off but it didn't the wind made it move
