It works by increasing blood flow to the application site, thus providing more nutrients to the dormant hair follicles. Whatever you apply to the skin is absorbed by the blood but in this case , since it's not a growth " Supplement " like biotin, your body just has to deal with expelling chemicals from the body the way it naturally does.

If you are only 3 weeks in be ready to wait for a while. It can differ for some People but the average time it takes for someone to start seeing a vast improvement is around 3-6 months. It took me around 2.5 months before I saw any major differences and now I’m about 9 months in and my beard is full af. Trust the method but have patience.

yes, in the first month my hair fell out a lot, mainly in the first two weeks of use, but then it grew back. in addition, burning of the facial skin and peeling of the epidermis basically the entire time of using this product. I used Minoxidil for a total of a year and a half. For the first year, twice a day, then once a day for half a year. Now I haven't used it at all for half a year, about 1/3 of the hair has fallen out, but a lot of it remains, I am satisfied and I am considering returning to using this preparation to thicken my beard in the near future.

Today is my 8 WEEK MARK. I have made PROGRESS!! This whole time I've NEVER had cheek hair... EVER. The whole time I've been applying Minoxidil I only shaved my side burns and my chin/neck because those are terminal (always have been) and I never shaved my cheeks. Today... I shaved my cheeks. 8 weeks of cheek hair growth is gone and I think I regret it? It wasn't visible from a far distance but I think it's starting to Get darker and I was feeling like it was too long to get into my skin (even tho the hair was vellus and very light but they were arm hair length long). I hope it grows back lmaoo. If it doesn't I might cry tbh... Progress from the first week to now is crazy though!! I REALLLLY hope my cheek hair grows back tho.. it was just lookin kinda silly

Putting on twice a day isn’t gonna make a difference. I’ve done both. I moisturize every night when I put the minoxidil on and have no issues with dry skin. When I don’t do the moisturizer it’s really bad

Do you dermaroll as well? It is recommended to wait 24 hours after dermarolling to apply minoxidil again. Does that mean you will have to skip an application of minoxidil? I don't know if that's worth it.
It will only fall out if the hairs that grew didn't change from vellus, to terminal, if you use it for 1 to 2 years, as long as the hairs have turned into terminal hairs, they will be permanent and keep coming back just like the other hairs, but if you use for say 1 month or 6 months, it will fall out, you gotta use this product every day for 1 to 2 years to get those hairs terminal, after that your good, but it's honestly not worth it

That’s your skin flaking not bleaching. Minoxidil is alcohol based so it dries out your skin. Just apply lotion or Jamaican black castor oil after you wash off the minoxidil and you should be fine.
Hi Ryan, thanks for you channel, you've got my subscription ;) I've got a question you may have an answers to. I started using Minoxidil on my beard once a day in the morning, and on my scalp once a day in the evening and I've just completed 3 weeks. I started using the foam because I read it's faster to apply and has less side effects like greasy hair, dry skin etc. So, it's 1/2 a capful two times a day but different parts. Is it worth, from your point of view, to apply Minoxidil two times a day on my beard, and once a day on my scalp? So, it will be not 2, but 2.5ml of Minoxidil per day. I mean I'd like to grow my beard more than the hair my scalp because, you know, beard hair will stay, but who knows how my scalp hair will do - it may eventually fall out and Minoxidil can't prevent it. So, I want to use it twice a day on my beard + once a day on my scalp. I know that it may cause more side effects so I can see if it's going to take place in my case. However, I've read that applying more than 2ml of Minoxidil is useless because of saturation of it in the skin. Is it the case when you apply it to different parts of the skin? Or it does not matter since it's systemic? Thanks in advance!

@Happy Thanos you're using 1 mL per day twice a day and you can spread out the 1mL throughout your face and neck. Don't overuse.

it can cause serious heart conditions, stay away from it.
So it takes months to see even a slight growth🤔... I finished my 1-1/2 week ... 0facial hair... Hope to see slight results like u in week 5-6

Putting on twice a day isn’t gonna make a difference. I’ve done both. I moisturize every night when I put the minoxidil on and have no issues with dry skin. When I don’t do the moisturizer it’s really bad

Do you dermaroll as well? It is recommended to wait 24 hours after dermarolling to apply minoxidil again. Does that mean you will have to skip an application of minoxidil? I don't know if that's worth it.

It only activates dormant hair follicles in your skin to start producing hair. No effect on testosterone as far as I have looked online.

It will only fall out if the hairs that grew didn't change from vellus, to terminal, if you use it for 1 to 2 years, as long as the hairs have turned into terminal hairs, they will be permanent and keep coming back just like the other hairs, but if you use for say 1 month or 6 months, it will fall out, you gotta use this product every day for 1 to 2 years to get those hairs terminal, after that your good, but it's honestly not worth it

That’s your skin flaking not bleaching. Minoxidil is alcohol based so it dries out your skin. Just apply lotion or Jamaican black castor oil after you wash off the minoxidil and you should be fine.

I've got a question you may have an answers to. I started using Minoxidil on my beard once a day in the morning, and on my scalp once a day in the evening and I've just completed 3 weeks. I started using the foam because I read it's faster to apply and has less side effects like greasy hair, dry skin etc. So, it's 1/2 a capful two times a day but different parts.
Is it worth, from your point of view, to apply Minoxidil two times a day on my beard, and once a day on my scalp? So, it will be not 2, but 2.5ml of Minoxidil per day. I mean I'd like to grow my beard more than the hair my scalp because, you know, beard hair will stay, but who knows how my scalp hair will do - it may eventually fall out and Minoxidil can't prevent it. So, I want to use it twice a day on my beard + once a day on my scalp. I know that it may cause more side effects so I can see if it's going to take place in my case. However, I've read that applying more than 2ml of Minoxidil is useless because of saturation of it in the skin. Is it the case when you apply it to different parts of the skin? Or it does not matter since it's systemic?
