LOL this is a real pheonomenon. People can go back and watch our old videos... we were honest and not trying to exaggerate, but we were scared lol. Now we love it :)
Bem vindos!! Guys, inside shopping malls there is usually a “family space” is a safe space where you can breastfeed your baby and change diapers, some even have microwaves to heat up baby bottles. All for free.
O jeito de vocês é muito parecido com o do brasileiro, deve ser por isso que gostam tanto do país. Não poderia deixar de elogiar a filha de vocês que a cada dia está mais linda. Parabéns ❤
Communication was perfect, that magazine spot really sells Estadão peppers, just ask him to take them from under the counter, I just got back from there, and I bought a big pot of pimenta hahaha
@@JetLagWarriors go back there!!! They sell the pimenta inside the Estadão too, but for some reason the owner of the recipe likes you to buy it at the newsstand hahaha, I literally went there this afternoon and bought a jar, it's delicious!!! and your communication level is perfect
Lots of tourists doesn't know this place because It was closed few years ago, but now it's open and on weekends you will find locals playing with the dogs and theyr kids
I live in São Paulo and I did some touristy stuff with a Brazilian friend who's living abroad and I also noted that the city is surprisingly clean and with no homeless people in the tourist spots.
Seems the work of our new governor Tarcísio de Freitas, as the current mayor is hated by both the Left and the Right and only got elected because the other option was a woke property invader and general troublemaker.
So cool to see the whole family now back in Brasil haha! Welcome little girl Jean 🥰 I met you two in Ouro Preto and you guys were so nice, I will never forget
I remember the first time you are absolutely terrified about being robed. Now you bring you baby child with absolute confidence. That's nice to see. Just be careful and alert, it is not as painted by media, but it is also not paradise on earth. Things can go wrong with too much overconfidence.
Bem vindos novamente. Boa estada no Brasil.
Hello, thanks for this kind donation! As well as the thoughtful recommendation. We will look into the places you mentioned and-- we've been to Campos do Jordao before! We were there a few years ago, during Christmas. It was a magical place! Thanks for this great recommendation
Thanks for this donation! So far, our daughter Jean is loving Brazil. We had her in the swimming pool for the first time in her life the other day. (video will be up soon!)
Hello, Steve and Ivana! I love your videos and your passion for Brazil is so inspiring. Having lived in São Paulo for 10 years, to see peoples interest in the city really reignites my love for this place. My partner just recently immigrated here from the US and we'd love to take on a tour or even have you over for lunch!
Gteat video. Laughed out loud regarding Ivanas sun glasses and the comment at end re carrots and onions. Food looked delicious. Great video!! Keep safe, healthy and happy.
Omg you were hanging out so close to where I live I'm super glad you love São Paulo just as much as I do, and I hope you have the best time you can here!
Although you may already know this since you started the right way, I’d like to make a contribution to this discussion. The right way to eat a coxinha is by starting with the sharp, pointed end facing down, as the larger, rounded part is the juiciest and most flavorful section of this beloved snack. Starting with the best part lets you decide whether this particular coxinha is worth continuing -- after all, it’s not uncommon to find poorly stuffed ones that can be disappointing. (There are other advantages to this method, but I won’t go into detail here.) Once the coxinha passes this initial 'taste test,' you can fully enjoy your meal. Save the conical tip for last. When you get there, if you're still hungry, you can turn it into a 'turbo version' by stuffing it with sauces or even leftovers from other dishes on the table, since it’s mostly dough and lacks much flavor on its own. Trust me, this is the ultimate coxinha eating experience!

It's so nice to see you guys here in Brazil again!! You guys should come here to the State of Bahia, we have beautiful beaches, an amazing cuisine and culture. Cheers from Porto Seguro, a beautiful city in Bahia!!
Welcome back! Places I recommen you to visit this time: Curitiba (PR), Holambra (SP), and overall the interior of São Paulo has pretty great cities to visit.
Welcome back!! I took a walk in centro last friday and I felt safer than the last time I went there. I don't know exactly what happened here either, but I was happy to see how the city was - I love that area but I rarely visit because it's not really that safe. Unsurprisingly, you guys know my city better than I do, haha! I hope you have a nice trip and enjoy!! :D/
You guys have kept me company during many meals, it's always a pleasure to watch such kind and positive people have a good time in my country and elsewhere. Your Portuguese pronunciation is really good and don't think for one second it goes unnoticed.
I am SO HAPPY to see you back to our country! Hope you enjoy this new aventure, I am sure Brazil is big enought to you discover new things that you didn't last time! Much love ❤
Brought me tears of happiness to know that you have a litte one ❤ We have a little one now 2,5 years old Brazilian Japanese with Romanian. I so happy for yooou!🎉🥹❤
So happy to see your baby! And your love for São Paulo is wonderful - it makes me want to visit my hometown more often. Thank you for sharing your experiences and perspective on São Paulo with all of us!
I feel really happy to hear so many positive words about SP and Brazil, as a Brazilian who's been living in Europe for the past 30 years. Lovely video, lovely family.
In São Paulo there are some bakeries, like in Italy, you should visit them and record a video. Cannoleria do Bixiga, Padaria Italianinha, Padaria 14 de Julho, among others, these are in the Bixiga neighborhood - SP.
As a brazilian, I’m so proud of our food 😎 Our sandwiches are REALLY stuffed. Bread adds flavour and crunchiness and it is light. Different from breads in Canada (I know, I live in Canada!). Canadian bread is hard, heavy and is the main item in a sandwich. I miss brazilian food 😩😩😩😩
going to brazil and coming back home is like going home and going home... I take that as a great compliment... I have this same feeling for Ireland my country of the heart.
Yay Welcome back! Thats the most cute baby ever! Also now you guys will have to do the classic São Paulo trip of eating, eating and eating. I will make some umprompted suggestions for São Paulo: Kio Bakehouse, Izakaya Omoide Sakaba, Chocolatria, Bar dos Arcos, Kuromoon, Viviane Wakuda, Mica Chocolates, Coco Bambu, Sainte Marie and the lost could go on and on. Anyway have a good one, if you guys need help just shout it out and we will come to the rescue.
The appropriate napkins for eating coxinha, pastel and other fried foods are precisely the ones that look like plastic. These napkins are not for cleaning your hands and mouth, but only for holding this type of snack. If you decided to use a more absorbent napkin to hold this type of snack, the napkin would stick to the snack. It is true that most places only offer this plastic napkin, causing this confusion. Lack of common sense on the part of the establishments that offer this type of snack. The correct thing would be to have both types, the napkin for holding fatty snacks and the napkin appropriate for cleaning hands and mouth. ;-)
Fellow gringo and Sao Paulo enthusiast here! I love your video and feel the same way you do about this wonderful city! I am here right now for a week closing on investments being made in this city. The level of peace, tranquility and happiness that I feel when in this city is unmatched. And I agree, the city has gotten cleaner in the past couple of years.
The "centro" is no longer the city center, the neighborhood called centro was abandoned (many decades ago) and the city center moved to other regions (Av Paulista, Faria Lima, Chucri Zaidan, Brooklyn...). Nowadays, centro is not a well-regarded neighborhood among the people of São Paulo, many don't even go there, but anyway, if you're having fun, that's what matters.
What a gorgeous baby. God bless her. Welcome to São Paulo. Downtown is kind of a rough area of the city, most middle class people don't usually go there, but it's authentic.
Just like you Steve and Ivana I absolutely love SP as well. There are things that are very important to me that other cities in Brazil just don't offer. Things like a world class metro system, asian supermarkets, tons of nice affordable airbnb options makes SP a very comfortable city to live in.
I still remember you both walking in downtown streets almost in panic of being mugged and now look at you 3! 😂😂😂 Welcome back!
Oh wow. The downtown looked terrible after the Covid pandemic. It looked much better now. I hope it keeps getting better.

Welcome back!! Go to Ipiranga Museum, it's such a beautiful place, there's plenty of restaurante close and you can play with Jean :)
Lots of tourists doesn't know this place because It was closed few years ago, but now it's open and on weekends you will find locals playing with the dogs and theyr kids
He is wright! And don’t forget to visit the park behind of the museum.
Rio have much more beautiful historical museuns than SP, Ipiranga has a amazing architecture but the gallary is not so great.
