Cape Town Festival of Running 21km 2024

Cape Town Festival of Running! Another back to back 21km weekend training run done and dusted and still managed a negative split finish. Thank you Hewat Athletic Club for a very well marshalled, great waterstations and a very well organised race 👏🙌🙏
As usual this 21km is hilly and tough but the stunning views and gees makes the journey easier😁👌 The weather was almost perfect with light breeze, scattered showers towards the end and the downpour only started 3 hours into the race🙏 Lucky that gave me motivation to finish sub 2😅🤣
I think the new registration at Sea Point High School instead of the big tent at the Promenade was a better option because it is not cold in the school hall and had great loos too🚽🤣
Unfortunately I didn't get go jump today for our photographers because I can't see with wet glasses and I had to focus head down in case I fall😅
Really enjoyed the race and I look forward to 50km 2025 again and pray we will have good weather🙏
