Thanks, the purple definitely makes it, I’m so glad I waited until now to create this rather than compromising the build by using what was previously available to me.
Extremely brilliant. This goes to show u don’t always needs new sets to be release, just buy what you can and create your own new sets. It’s a lot more creative and will satisfy any appetite for new sets. This custom is going to be a seriously nice set.
@@halojon3909 it’s a shame there isn’t a better platform for the MEGA community to show their builds, there are a lot of talented builders out there flying under the radar.
@@brickman1175Oh damn. The castle would’ve been an amazing source if it was the same color. Maybe for some classic CE builds, where the brighter purple won’t look too out of place.
Out of all this so far, my absolute favorite part is how you designed the slope transition on the side of the troop bay with the 1x2 slopes. Absolutely genius!
I’ll be honest, when I first put that together it put a smile on my face too seeing how well it worked out. It’s very satisfying folding it into place.
really cool to get to follow along an ultimate build again, already looks insanely good! You better build a diorama of the start of the 2nd mission in CE when its done. Merry Christmas Brickman!
Thanks, it feels good to be back on a build series again, it’s been a long time. The completed ship will most definitely appear in dioramas in the future . Merry Christmas to you too 🥳
in my opinion i would be building over a soft surface so if i drop it it wont explode. the purple really stands out and grabs your eye. the step on the slopes is bearly even noticeable which is a good thing and rewatching this it really shows how much you added to it. this is really cool and impressive when its done i think seeing how it looks to the other stuff you built like the pelican and banished AA gun would look pretty cool i do wonder if you are building the other troop as well or if that will be built later on.
This looks amazing so far! I wonder if instead of having exposed studs, you could instead maybe use some kind of tile to create a smooth surface that contrasts the slopes, as right now the hollow studs showing feel rather off somehow
Thanks, I did try it with all smooth grey slopes as my gut told me that would look better but once I’d done it I personally thought it didn’t look right, it was too smooth. Once the build is complete I might show it with the current studded slopes and swapped out for smooth slopes just so everyone can see the difference
Love it so far!! I’d love to help by sending some pieces your way! I have a TON of old covenant purple! I’d give them for free if we can work out something with shipping! Either way you’re doing great!
I just wanna put this here...today, christmas day, my sisters unknowingly gave me a third hornet set. Within that box, was another sgt. stacker, an odst, a BR, and two magnums. I say again, TWO magnums. From the three hornet sets I have now, I have four silver magnums.
Unfortunately they don’t make that part without hollow studs so it’s either hollow studs or smooth slopes. I think I’ll try the smooth slopes again once the build is complete so I can show the comparison, it will only take a minute to swap them out.
I’m building pretty much the exact same thing as you literally as I speak. However I’m building mine out of LEGO because it’s so hard trying to get the parts from mega. Im building the halo wars version of the spirit because I like how it has a gravity lift. Close to finishing mine aswell. I think yours will look awesome, if you want some inspiration or ideas, I can show you what I’ve built so far.
@@Kenoathmate Nice, building Halo vehicles from Lego seems to be growing in popularity and there is some seriously good stuff out there. Building things like this out of MEGA is ridiculously expensive sadly so I think you made the right decision going the Lego route. Maybe you can send some pictures through when it’s complete.
@ if your doing a mashup between different spirits then I think you should try putting a gravity lift in it because it would look awesome. I’m pretty much doing a mashup with the different spirits aswell because they all have features that I really like. Im just mostly making it look like the type 28 from halo wars since that one has the gravity lift.
As it’s Christmas I’ve released this episode today instead of Friday. Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you are all safe, warm and loved 😊
Merry Christmas brick man
Have a great Christmas brick man
Have a better Christmas than this guy says brick man
Merry Christmas dude! Can’t wait to see this next to the pelican if it’s still alive ;)
Love the build ,that purple colour was defo the right choice
Thanks, the purple definitely makes it, I’m so glad I waited until now to create this rather than compromising the build by using what was previously available to me.
Only Brickman can make a custom build look like it’s coming together seamlessly! Merry Christmas everyone!
It’s all in the edit 😂, Merry Christmas 🥳

I think you nailed the angles tbh it looks awesome
Thank you, so far so good 😊
REALLY COOL
mega should make this set! i will love to do this to finish up my covenant army
Christmas came early!
looks great this far
I didn’t know the He-Man sets use the same purple as old Halo, they look way too bright on product images. This is looking great!
@@ryatt9365 apparently it’s only the havoc staff that uses the same purple (it’s the only set I have).

I always get so jealous when I'm working on a project and bam, you blow me out of the water
Hopefully the build will inspire you to just keep building, Merry Christmas 🥳

Loving this so far. It would be cool if the stand for the finished build was a grassy field with bungie era covenant jumping out of the spirit
That’s pretty much exactly how I plan on building the stand 😁
Spirit is already coming together so good! You're awesome
Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy the finished result 😊

BrickMan117 making more for fans than Mega Construx
peak builds as always, merry Christmas BrickMan117
Thank you, same to you. 🥳
Great viewing this with my first coffee on Xmas day , Merry Christmas everyone
Honoured, hope you had a great day 😁
Brilliant 👏, merry Christmas to all fellow brick enjoyers, can't wait to see more updates 🥵
What a wonderful design I can see all the great detail you’re putting into it I’m so excited for the rest of the build I can’t wait
I appreciate the kind words, I can’t wait to see the finished product!
Looking great! Merry Christmas to you and your family Brickman!!
Thanks, you too! 😁
Looking good dude!
Looking incredible so far! Lining up the slopes and curves is so damn satisfying
Thanks, it's a little bit of a challenge but the results are definitely worth it.

Thanks for your feedback on the build, always appreciated. I’m building the second troop bay now, that will be part 4.
Right on!

@brickman1175 that's probably a great idea! Our idea of what something looks like is never as reliable as actually seeing it in practice!
Thank you very much I really wanted to see that part. Merry Christmas brick man
You are very welcome, Merry Christmas to you too!
Good this custom builds are back again
Glad you’re enjoying them! 😊
Looks amazing so far!
Can’t wait see the end result
Incredible! Merry Christmas!

That is incredibly kind of you, I'm very grateful, but I have plenty of covenant purple at the moment, thanks for offering though! 👍
No problem! Merry Christmas! If you ever change your mind I’d be happy to donate parts, i’ve got a 80 Liter tote full of just purple

Mega constux higher this man now!!!
I like studs for texture but I'm not convinced by the hollow studs. Looks like someone has been drilling holes in it.

Rare footage of inside a High Charity assembly forge:
You’re not wrong about getting bogged down in details. It’s slowed me down on many projects.
It’s always the hardest obstacle to overcome in any build, knowing when to say enough is enough.

Does mega have a brick link like site?
''No
Sadly not, eBay for used sets is the way I collect parts.
Hi, will you be making instructions for your custom Spirit? I’d love to recreate it!
And the question is, from which sets did you use the gray pieces?
Sorry, no instructions planned. The darker grey parts are from the Cyber Truck set and the light silver parts are old MEGA BLOKS parts.
