    • @ShomilSaxena
      @ShomilSaxena 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      different parts of india follow different naming conventions . in some lineages and families and in south people generally use the name of their father as eighter their first name or last name . like "Vishwanathan" is Anand's father's name . Anand is somewhat common i guess , probably more common in southern indian than northern india ( I live in central india and never met an Anand ) . most of northern india has just classic naming convention of the first name given by parents and the last name which runs in the family .
      Names themselves are pretty different across India as while writing wise all names follow the same script (Devnagri) but as there are 22 popular accepted languages there is a lot of variety of names across the 28 indian states and the many different religions that are practiced here.
      Because of cultural mixup you will often see some people having a mix of names from different religions . one of my teachers was named "Preeti Joseph" , Preeti being a primarily Indian name and Joseph being a Christian name .

    Praggs moves are so patient and unlikely, and I'm sure his opponent never expects them most of the time. I think Pragg chose to put his bishop on a central square at the beginning so he had options for attacking each side of the board and not just on a single corner diagonal.
