- Canton South's perfect season comes to an end as they are taken out by the defending state champion, Cleveland Glenville. Congrats on both teams for what was an outstanding season and good luck to Glenville as they have a chance to defend their crown this upcoming weekend.
Imma give ya a thumbs up even though you we're a lil biased at first🫠. Glenville's defense made muh man Poochy look like a regular ole dude💪. All Sophomores I may add. So that means they'll be back! You realized your era in late in the second quarter when you realized Glenville's (Defensive team speed) wasn't gonna allow ya boy a darn thing but that fake Down not Down TD🤡 They're defense was suspect af to say the least because Jones shredded them😂😂😂. I hope that you didn't bet bruh😢. Can't nobody in division IV beat Glenville, now or maybe even 3 or more seasons. Ijs
Hard to compare. Canton South quite literally just had their best season ever. They hung in the game and played tough. Turnovers killed South and Glenville made them pay for them.
Jones and I are McKinley grads and we remember Glenville as the Cardale Jones D1 team. That Glenville team we saw Friday is no different. The big difference in this matchup was the size upfront.
We appreciate you following along. I was hoping to get Glenville winning the title last year but it was too cold and I was sick from doing D1 and D2. The moment I watched Ted Ginn Sr live on tv after the game, I regretted not going.
We will be there for Glenville Saturday night.
Have that Glenville team come over and see Massillon next season. Everybody in the State knows the ONLY way glenville was ever going to get a title is in D4. Come play with the big dawgs so we can embarrass you 😂😂😂

@@JimTrussell we like running into Hoban they’re really the only team in the state that can match up over the last few years. We ran into them lastnight & went through them I know you were there lol. Also St Ed’s won the D1 state title last yr we beat them. They’re probably going to repeat this weekend yet we beat them again and manhandled that vaunted offensive line earlier this season too. We are the best team in the state regardless of division with one of the best defenses in the country. I’m just saying TIG!!!

Great video...great season for CS. Glenville just a battle tested team. Played a tough schedule that got them ready for just about any team that they would face.

Glenville lost 3 games this year to great teams...Nationally top 5 ranked IMG, Avon Eagles and Akron Hoban. That's the level of competition that they have faced. Glenville is a tough gritty team and they won a championship last year. Wasn't going to be an easy game for CS. Appreciate the great season CS had. It seems their football program is on the rise.

Great game. Glenville came out on top. The home team had loud and dedicated fans for sure. Canton South wasn't very classy nor dignified. Number 5 Canton South player threw something at a Glenville Player at the end of the game. Someone's foul mother kept saying that Glenville players should be ashamed of themselves. For what? Laying the smacketh-downeth on their team? Show some class. Some of them need to trade in their football gear for Pom-Poms I really enjoyed that cowbell though. It gave a rather "farmer's market" appeal. Gotta' always have as much cowbell as possible. 🤣🤣🤣🏆🏆🏆

I was on the field. That number 5 had to be escorted away by his coaches because he threw something at one of our kids, which had he not been, a fight prolly would have ensued. I diffused a situation between my kids and CS players during pregame (I told them we didn’t come here for all this nonsense). Also, some of the things I heard CS fans say were extremely vulgar. That’s why our players were waving bye to them at the end of the game.

Predictions for the Massillon Hoban game?
If Massillon wins, they'll win by 2TDs. Probably be up all game, punch in a TD in the 4th.
If Hoban wins, it'll be one possession and probably due to turnovers.
If Massillon wins it will because they controlled Hobans offensive and defensive line. Do that and I believe Mass skilled players are good enough to beat Hoban. If Mass loses it will be because of turnovers and penalties.

Poochie is a great player and doesn't need your jealous remarks. From what I read in paper from coach Ginn, his players did a lot of smack talk and other misbehaviors during game. Figures inner-city thugs trying to intimidate largely rural (local) kids. Hope Glenville loses title!

Poochie threw 3 interceptions, was CONSTANTLY running for his life, AND was CONSTANTLY getting sacked.... The greatest robbery is being taken place with D'Shawntae Jones not even being considered Mr Ohio.... Not to many running backs can run for over 200 yards in each of the 2 playoff games
At least Perkins gave them a better game. 36-26. I noticed the Glenville team looked considerably bigger and some of the comments that Glenville should be in bigger division like D1 or D2. I agree. Where they in D1?
Glenville historically was always division 1. I think they dropped to division 2 a few years ago and they've dropped again to division four. Someone had mentioned, and I've heard this before, that the program received punishment for recruiting violations and that punishment was to get dropped down division. I don't know how true that is nor do I think that makes any sense at all. But it's factually true... this division 4 team about 10 years ago was Division 1

You don't know the history of our school they wanted to close our school because of the attendance of boys and girls they had to move down because the amount of boys that we have at our school and we don't make the rules
