How Do You Cross the Darién Gap? Our Land Cruiser's Journey from Panama to Colombia Part 1

In this episode, we tackle one of the biggest challenges of travelling the Pan American Highway: the infamous Darién Gap. Stretching between Panama and Colombia, the Darién Gap is a dense, roadless jungle that makes it impossible to continue driving south. So, like many overlanders before us, we have to ship our Land Cruiser around this wild and untamed region.
We’ll take you along as we prepare in Panama City, navigating the logistics of getting our vehicle ready for shipping. This episode is part 1 of 2 in our shipping journey.

Who are we?
We're Josh and Vanessa, a Canadian couple from British Columbia, who have a passion for the outdoors, travel and meeting rad people. In 2019 we got married and spent the next couple of years working and exploring our BC in our camperized 1992 Mitsubishi Delica. After some major life changes, we decided that life is too short to wait to chase our dreams. So in 2022 we bought our 1994 FJ80 Toyota Land Cruiser and spent the next 12 months camper converting it and preparing to live out our dream of driving the Pan-American Highway.

Wolfbox is awesome. I did a ton of research on this stuff and these guys are the game. I will say after about a year, I've had to reboot it a few times. Kind of a rash but not a redline. By the way, I took a second camera and plugged it in for wheel placement in front and it works like a charm. I am riding solo thus no spotter on tougher terrain.
