    how comsum from inventory,in other videos u show how too add inventory,now i am adding inveryot but can consum,in this video i can consum but cant add inventory,how to mix 2 video?

    Excellent as always! I did have one issue with getting the coins to count up but figured out the issue -- make sure your Coin Box collision is set to OverlapAllDynamic and not BlockAllDynamic.

    10:08 If you mouse over some settings in the bottom-right, don't forget your cam is there - perhaps scroll down a bit and click higher :)

    Brother everything is great. A little too fast cause the concepts are new but pausing and reviews is an option. I had some errors here and there and I had to review some nodes but I'm all good now.

    I would really appreciate a video about how to change the 3rd person character in Unreal. How to design your own in Blender. What to know about rigging for unreal, why you would want to use the default mannequin rig, what it would affect to make your own rig, etc. That would be super helpful. This series of videos is incredible. Thank you so much for them. Please keep putting them out. They're great.

      In the upcoming episodes I will show you. 1) how to create, rig and animate a character in blender. 2) how to import it into unreal and set it up as your default character. 3) how to setup the animations so the character can move and attack. I won't go into the importance of certain rig setups but basically it's this. You can use any rig you want it's a complete free for all, there is no benefit for using the default rig, but if you create a rig with the exact same bone setup as the default ue4 character you can use animations they give you for your own character. So... if you create a completely new character but the rig (bones) are exactly the same as the default character you can use their animations! Same bones/rig setup = can use animations for other characters with the exact same bone/rig setup. Hope this helps :D thank you for the support :)

    Do you have an add other ai tutorial? I'm new to this and looking to add other kinds of Ai to the BT but don't know how to reference the other characters in the BT.

    I tend not to hard code values into the arithmetic values. I make variables and toss them in. With the coins, I created a scorevalue variable, and made it instance editable, so I could actually scale the coins smaller or larger and change the actual score you could get from them. You could do the same with the other consumables.

    I successfully accomplished all your tutorials and I am grateful so far. But I cannot explain why this coin just won't convert into score points within the widget. The coin doesn't even disappear when the box is overlapped, like with the hearts or potiions. I would kill for getting the solution to this riddle.

      That's so awesome to hear Dezo! So when you run into issues like these you need to narrow down where the issue is using print strings. You can add an event tick which tracks the coin integer inside the character, add a print string inside the widget printing out the integer value. Then you'll be able to find out what's working, and then narrow down what's not working :) check out my debugging tutorial it should help!

    Great tutorials, how about a tutorial on Optimization and Performance, also how about pointing out when the way you are doing something is not the best way, or there's other better ways, an explaination of why, would be even better, again thanks for all these awesome tuts, I really learned alot. Oh the coin consumption causes an error, maybe i did something wrong but I dont think so, because sometimes it collects all the coins with out error, and other times it generates an error practically saying that the local offset is trying to access a static mesh thats marked for death.... think you can help with this thanks!

      I do point out if there are other ways of doing things that I know but I try to show in my videos the best way I know of doing something. Will try and do a Optimization and performance tutorial at some point for definite. Make sure when deleting the coin you "Delete Actor" and not a specific actor. Good luck :)

    Would it be better to create a parent class for consumables? So you can change all the properties of consumables? For example, you want to change the speed of the spin and you change it in one place, not in five.

    in the case of the damage consumable, how can I make it cause a varied damage (example between 10 to 50) which function can I call to do this?

      Use the 'in range' node. Picks a value between the two numbers :)
