Bicky was wrong about 1 thing in his video.
The steel talons aint an experimental weapons group anymore, they use the OLDER weapon systems that has been deemed outdated by GDI nowdays. When they started in TW1, they were experimental, Now.. they are outdated relic.
Wolverines and titans are from the 1st-2nd Tiberium war.
Zocom, Now THOSE guys are experimental AF.
That may be so, but Titans etc. are outdated in terms of doctrine and economical feasibility not technology.
Post TW2 and firestorm Nod fractured and lost the most of its advanced tech and by the time TW3 started the military arm of GDI was experiencing massive budget cuts as well as change from outright army to protection force for reclamation part of GDI and policing force in blue and the more civilized yellow zones. In essence the budget cuts forced GDI military to rollback to an updated previous generation weapons (tanks and wheeled vehicles instead of hovercraft and walkers) if they wanted to keep the numbers up.
Imagine if US cut their defense budget so radically that they couldn't maintain F-35s and F-22s anymore and had to develop new 4.5th gen fighter (think Eurofighter or Gripen equivalent).
year late but titans & walkers were from the second-3rd tiberium war, during the first war the mammoth was king.
titans & hovercraft, walkers in general were not in the field in the first war. as GDI & nod was still using Abrams tanks & other modern day equipment.
@@cr90captain89 they were main use in TW2 and TW3, but the prototypes for them was made in the end of TW1.
My fav unit has to be the Nod Spectre, though.
Love the voice work on it and it's so damn satisfying when you sneak a bunch of them into a good position and then send an absolute hailstorm of artillery down on the enemy base.
Then eff off out of there laughing into stealth before they can send anything to kill you.
Nod in general was the most fun for me because they had so many options for making a comeback or hitting from an unexpected angle.
One of the things you could do (and which I usually did) with Nod is to pack up your MCV (mobile construction vehicle) put a stealth field on it and send it off in some remote corner of the map as a back-up base should things go south. Or do the same with a surveyor, plonk it down just behind the enemy base while they're distracted fighting someone else, build a barracks there and start sending either saboteurs or black hand troops right through their back door. Stealth is so much fun.
I believe that RTS will make a return someday, but not soon, most likely.
The original Command & Conquer game got a remaster relatively recently and got positive reactions!

34:50 That thing in the Background is called "The Mothership" , every faction has a special unit that can be considered the boss unit , youve already been introduced to the MARV of GDI , the Brotherhoods one is called "The Reedemer" , they took inspiration from Christianity( name of units/characters and how they function in gameplay and Lore like the Confessor Cabals saying things like "Upon this Rock" etc) and i believe Islam ( mainly the whole radicalization and terror group )

I'd recommend checking out Dr. White's videos on Command and Conquer Renegade and Tiberian Sun. I think you might like them because he worked with Alfabusa on if the Emperor had a Text to Speech Device.
34:46 that is the scrin mothership and it is one of those units you MUST bring down as soon as possible because a blast from that thing can level an entire base with a chain reaction effect. good thing it's one of the slowest units in the game and can't be trained. it has to be summoned with one of the games' support powers for the scrin. I also highly recommend Jethild because he covers a lot of the command and conquer stuff, discussing the factions, the history of their weapons, etc

So hey Old man, is the Game over when your main base is wiped out, or you take a major loss when your main resource point has been depleated? Esp in SC1? Yeah that's not a thing in CnC, both in campaign and in PvP I've made comebacks from having only one building to win. I've won a Red Alert 2 match suffering a K/D ratio of 1/100 losing 100 conscripts to every kill i got...the foes got pisses dropping Nukes creating fields of lingering leathal radiation that melted my men...as a tactic to slow my never ending tide of soldiers. Command and Conquer you never stop.
You have to watch Bricky's Red Alert 3 video after this(or put it in your schedule). That game is pure memes. As someone who plays RE3, I can vouch for it
Playing both C&C and Dawn of War with friends made me really love RTS’s in general with TBS close behind. There is something just so cathartic about just being able to plan an successful attack and come out on top…
Though it did get me thinking: who do you think would win against each other in these games? Blood Angels? Eldar? NOD? GDI? I don’t know I like C&C n DoW a lot

You try remembering every Space Marine chapter you come across and not mix up the names, and I could have sown remember playing the Blood Angels at one point

This was a blast from the past man. Im only a year or two older than bricky but i started on that tiberium sun and cnc 1 track. Phenomenal games, fuck ea for cnc tibwars 4 and for ending it with that. Rest in pepperonis 😢

THANK GOD , finally theres been a reaction to the Tiberium Timeline , i feel like people payed more attention to Generals and Red Alert , give Tiberium a chance.
Starcraft was my first game ever. I was 7 yo at the year of 2005. I could do jack shit there, but the mere thought of building my own army to crush my enemies got very imbedded in my mind. So when I got my own pc and my uncle downloaded c&c generals on it (together with porn within it's game files) I was super excited. I literally played it for 1.5 of a year.
I would probably either be in the black hand or the mark of kane both sound pretty effective

i know i'm late to this but the xbox 360 version had a commanders challage much like red alert 3 uprsing at the cost of being able to build a limited amount of units rather then the world conqest that the pc version has

I mean living yellow zones is not all that bad though but how do Nod and GDI make food but i assume its from their multistory buildings of GDI and underground for Nod in order to feed their civvies and military
