Heck, John could tell Cassandra that her fiancée isn't being faithful - they both were kids at the same time, so it wouldn't surprise me if they are friends. Oh my gosh! Your John is working on the Bella Goth case too?! I'm so touched you used the idea I gave you. Another simmer also used John as a cop a couple of years back, I can't remember who it was; so credit goes to them. And the cherry on top is if Jennifer is in the Journalism career and working on that too. John digs up the clues, Jennifer documents it all.
The investigator idea is great, I was originally thinking abt making John a journalist, but then investigator sounds more exciting. :D I think it makes sense because it gives the Burbs a more interesting reason to move to the hood and connects them to the ongoing narrative.
the bush was flashing blue, because the object is missing its master mesh file. Whenever an object has a broken or missing master mesh file, its replacing the texture with this blue flashing.
I prefer build videos and dont nornally watch gameplay but i enjoyed this, it was relaxing and fun and reminds me of when i used to play games with my little sister as kids :) Poor Dina!! And i hope Don manages to adopt piggy!
ahhh it wasn't my best moment but I'm glad you had fun xD I love Piggy, Don is kinda boring because he lives alone. He's not one to commit to a sim, but perhaps a pet would be a great companion. :)

That cooking bug was so funny, I think anachibi was right and it was likely a mix up between community time and him being halfway through cooking his gross lil sandwiches and getting interrupted. The game never fails to find new ways to bug out lol. I love your editing style and the way you use the camera to show off/highlight moments. So excited to see more! You should be v proud :)

I think that food tray on the counter bugged out (maybe you put it or took out a mod while he was cooking?) and so the game thought he was cooking the whole time it was out. Cleaning it up then made it stop.
I don't know what it was, the entire thing was recorded in one sitting without interruptions so I didn't do anything to my mods. I've never experienced such a bug before 😭
The tray was there at the beginning of the recording. You did mention you have Community Time tho, that can also bug out objects being used when it syncs stuff up. Another 'tuber I watch had their phones bug out because of it. But in any case, yeah, definitely connected to that tray!

I normally do that with Ajay 😂 since Bella is a townie in Strangetown, I usually have him investigating the rumours about people seeing her there and his "ordinary guy" persona is just an act so he won't be seen as suspicious
That is one buggy lot! "Purple Soup" (or "Pink Flashing") occurs when The Sims 2 fails to upload and display textures, models, poses, and other assets to the system hardware. The Sims 2 replaces them with flashing purple textures, T-poses, and so on. Eventually, The Sims 2 soon crashes after this "purple soup" creeps in.

Lol this is the casual woohoo on the sofa from the ACR mod (Autonomous Casual Romance). Sims randomly decide to flirt, kiss or woohoo without player input.
The terrain default replacements I use are by CuriousB.
