hope you guys liked this, it's a little different than my normal essay style videos but I love Comedy Central Roasts and thought this would be a fun idea :)
What's sad is not only did Kishimoto sidestep them after Classic but he didn't give them much of a development. Wich is why I wonder for what purpose did he even write them in? In the war arc he brought dead people from the past (let's not talk how awful it is to revive characters who died for a reason) back so they could take all the spotlight instead of focusing on his "living" characters.
I meannn in Shippuden he had to focus on developing people who contribute to the plot and move the story forwards...like jiraiya, Kakashi, Itachi, the previous hokage, the Akatsuki, the other Kage, etc
They were supposed to die in the sasuke rescue arc neji and the others were supposed to die there because there is not enough time and chapter for them shonan told him to end at chapter 700 and he can't do anything about that and he lacks of time to focus on them remember he was writing in the weekly manga look what happens to hidan arc that arc was supposed to be longer but the editor was rushing him to end to dilver in time and he was in the hospital and kishimoto was tired he wanted to end to take a break after working for so long without a break he even missed his father ferinal and never got to his honeymoon until he was finished with Naruto if you don't know his dad passed away during the war arc and killing them in n part one would have been great ending for them but they just like guy were pupuler and the editor forced him to keep them alive
He was the only one of the Sasuke Retrieval Team to beat his own respective Sound 4 member without help. Choji had his food pills, Shikamaru got saved by Temari, Kiba got saved by Kankuro. Against Kimimaro, Naruto was getting his clones killed like they meant nothing, Lee stepped in so Naruto could chase Sasuke, Lee had saké to use the Drunken Fist, Gaara came in to assist, and Kimimaro and he was *_still_* seconds from killing Lee and Gaara, with his illness killing him first being the reason that Gaara and Lee are still around.
@@jruler93and Neji turned into a likable and respectable character near the end of the chunin exam arc, making his death so much more tragic. He almost made it too, they killed him off on the second to last arc. It hurts when they talk about Uncle Neji in Boruto 😭

yeah agreed, team asuma had their moments but Kiba, Shino, Hinata, Tenten, Neji, and even Lee were kind of shafted :(
