this song literally sounds like a cloud. the whole album feels like that, really. it's so healing, and beautiful, and just makes you feel good inside. it just puts you in a better mood entirely. i could be having the worst day, but when i listen this album, my surroundings are completely changed from something i dread to something i really don't mind.

this is exactly why its my favorite ariana album
i was having a hard time at the end of 2018 just when sweetener released. as soon as i gave it a listen i started to adore ariana's music more. sweetener helped me go thru such a hard time especially the REM track for some reason. now i've fortunately got thru it surprisingly, and whenever i listen to this album it feels personal now
on her interview she said not in theese exact words: its to get rid of negativity and be a sweetner to you life.

can anyone tell me what specific instruments are used here?
There aren’t any actual instruments. This is made just through computer sounds. Pharrell is known for producing sounds like these through manipulating already existing sounds.(Pharrell produced R.E.M.) Such as the breathing and probably elongated some keyboard notes.

@@EvaLauren you can use a bass drum, snare, and a closed hihats to recreate the drums. The synths can be played on a keyboard and the breathing is just pharell's adlibs.
