Just noticed that Karen used the phrase Good Samaritan in the first episode and Fisk's monologue about the Good Samaritan at the end, I always love the parallels in season 1

Karen went from "I'm going to jail for murder and these two are insane!" to "Nelson, Murdock and Page". Love it and hope to see the renewed firm up and running soon.
Elden Henson made this show so much more real for me. I thought of him mostly as a joke character up until he gets thrown into the mess head first and has to deal with being best friends with Matt who is at the center of it all. Matt/DD is cool as hell, and Cox is perfect for The Man Without Fear- But Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson made me bust a gut so many times and root for him more than anyone.

Reminds me of Batman Nolan's trilogy humor, because it's not cringy and doesn't feel off, somehow it manages to be dark and funny at the same time without losing consistency
My absolute favorite funny line from the entire Dark Knight trilogy is when that guy is trying to threaten to go to the news about Bruce Wayne being Batman and Lucius Fox just looks at the guy and goes "Let me get this straight, you think that your client, one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the world, is secretly a vigilante, who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands, and your plan is to blackmail this person? ........Goodluck!" Kills me every time!
Remembering when I saw "dark and serious" movies and shows as a kid and looking at the humor scenes. I was so confused, but found it funny. This show was a nice blend of both, because it proves that even a dark (no pun intended) show like Daredevil can make its light shine through.
What i like of this jokes is that they come naturally as part of a conversation, insteed of most of MCU jokes where you can actually even see the "pause for laughs". Nothing wrong with that kind of humor, since it works, but i much prefeer when its integrated to the dialogue and characters!
"Please stop giving my mom cigars, Foggy." "What? She'll outlive us all." "You gotta stop giving Bess cigars." "She likes to smoke, Matt. It's a free country." My favorite ones, and they're both about Foggy giving an old lady cigars-

Even some of the darker parts I think are really funny. Like in the opening where he's fighting the human traffickers and there's that fat guy sitting in the background just eating a burger and watching the whole thing. And then he goes down in one hit lol. Sometimes the punchline is an actual punch.

I know Daredevil is a good series but I regretted it took a brick and a really good lawyer scene to make me cemented to the series. Well,at least the series get wider wider recognition
Of course the people who will complain about the very idea of Daredevil being funny in She-Hulk are going to conveniently forget moments like this exist in Daredevil’s original show.
