My Mother used to sing me to sleep with this song. TY for the wonderful memory.
What a wonderful discovering, the very early Esther Ofarim. This song was always my favorit from her repertoir and I was lucky to see her life and also to get to hear that song, November 1965 in Wuppertal, Germany. I still have her autograph from that night. She was and still is very special.
