Trains at Milton Keynes Central, WCML | 02/06/21

Filmed on the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures in London reaching 28 degrees and in Milton Keynes up to 26. The first part of the video is filmed in the early afternoon from platform 5/6 while the second half filmed from platform 3/4 was taken later that evening.

Avanti West Coast Pendolino's & Voyagers, London North Western 350's & 319's, Southern 377's, Freightliner class 66 & a Royal Mail 325 set!
Check out 390039 at the end. A strange kind of hybrid livery. First class has the full black bars around the windows while standard coaches don't and the last coach has a white band around the windows amidst the dark Avanti livery. Its the only one of the pendolino's like it.

Why do they send fast trains hurtling down a side platform and not through the middle tracks?

Because platform 5 which is the middle track, splits sharply to join either platform 6 or 4 just after leaving
