Hey, I have a 3000 watt power drive inverter that's only been in my truck for a couple months and now it's suddenly shutting off. It's not overloading like if you ran too much stuff and it blows a fuse and you have to go outside and click the red switch near the batteries, it's just that the inverter turns off after 30 seconds if I turn my microwave on then I have to lean down and press the button to turn the inverter back on. What on Earth is up with that? It can't even cook anything now in my semi.

Hi Eric, the lifetime of the inverter all depends upon your care and keeping of it. Ensuring there is an inline circuit breaker or fuse to protect both you and the inverter is essential to prolong the lifetime of the inverter.
