A manager yells at you for playing poor, you go out and either fear the manager or tell yourself "I'll show that son of B!" Tougher mentality back then. Now a player gets yelled at then he sulks and goes on social media and talks of how unappreciated he feels and lonely. In the old days folks would just tell you, "Cowboy up! "
