Nice! I'm at the point now where I need to learn about lighting when my world has a day/night cycle. The interiors like inside the caves and such are not an issue. Its the harshness of the lighting on my outer buildings and on the player when hes outside. Any tips?
It's not bad. I haven't done it myself but ultimately all there is to do is X seconds add rotator for directional light this amount on a BP. Keep in mind u may need some artificial lighting u can add to bp as well.
@@SacredSage88 I already have my day/night system implemented. I did not have it connected so I could do all my testing. Once I implemented it I found the outside looks fine with the exception of the player looking too dark because of the shadows. Not sure what to do with that. I thought adding lighting to him during the day and turning them off during night hours. Not sure how other devs handle that.

@megtwin hey did you make what you were about to make 5 months back? I have a similar idea, I need to show day to night environment shift in vr as someone touches the trigger. No idea how, any tips?
@@soumikchakraborty7842 I've resorted to using an asset that came with a day/night cycle. But Matt Aspland has a very good tutorial on it if you want to check him out! I used his method in a project that is no longer in process.
