Today I met my friends and took a bike tour from Krefeld to Düsseldorf riding along side street , Rhine river, where we saw lots of different animals It took us a little over one hour to go to Dusseldorf. We took the weisse Flotte a little cruise ship that goes up and down the Rhine river, showing you the city ,restaurants, stores and much more. It was an awesome day. - บันเทิง
If I was German I'd never leave, especially for crappy LA! But live where you want, we love you and your content wherever you go!
😂😂 its just the human.............."the grass on the other side appears always more green"
Everybody’s looking at you most likely because of your American 🇺🇸 flag shorts.
I live exactly there as shown in the video. But I'd leave for LA! Love the sun and the ocean! Just need some money to take care of my medical supplies in the US on my own. Health insurance is one of the best in Germany all over the world. Can't miss that...
less nazi@@derek4177
7 million have left for America.
I grew up in L.A. and lived there most of my life. Moved to Spain over 5 years ago and you couldn't pay me enough to move back there. I'll take your beautiful German landscapes and "boring" peaceful towns full of alpacas, sheep, and pigs, over L.A., any day. Thanks for sharing it with us. Love your videos!
Sometimes as we get older, the "boring" life is what we would much rather have. For me, a city is okay to visit for a few days but then I'm ready to get back to more calm and peacefulness.
I wish I lived in Germany. What a land and people. I could spend years just going up and down the Rhine soaking up all of the history all the way back to the Romans. The Castle’s and little villages all of it is amazing to me.
The thing that makes it so nice in Dusseldorf is to be freely relaxing on a public lawn, enjoying the weather, and drinking an ice-cold beer without worrying about a policeman writing a ticket! That is what I call freedom.
And not worry about some idiots getting into arguments and shooting each other.
What strikes me with the people is they are not staring at their phones , they are actually talking and enjoying themselves !!
😄
I think your german videos are far more interesting than American videos. Keep up the good work.
100% Agreed. I watch all the German ones and only a few LA ones.
Same here! Love Germany. Clean, quiet, and they hide their nutcases!!! LOL!@@johanvanbeek7138
But for us Germans it's more interessting what the GIV is doing over in LA . But you enjoy our country via videos. Bless y'all .
I agree. Love the German videos.
I love your Germany videos wayyy better than US ones. :)
I’ll take llamas, chickens, and pigs all day over the drug zombies here in San Francisco.
Also, how come Tommy never speaks? It’s like he feels awkward in front of the camera…?
We like you, Tommy! Tell us a story!
Although we have drug zombies in Dublin Ireland too 😢😢😢
Germany is beautiful and peaceful. I like it. L.A. Has too many crazy people!
It's not, believe me
so does Germany have crazy people - their politicians especially
lol@@eily_b
Yeah seriously especially for past few years have been crazy. I've been in weho for over 20 years and my hometown is like GIV's hometown, nice, quiet, people are polite, almost zero homeless, no guns, no lootings. LA weather is the best. It is always good to appreciate and accept both cities pros and cons.
Stop comparing, you can´t because you never went to that other place.@@eily_b
Germany looks like a beautiful place to live!😊💗🌽🐑🐔🐐🐖🌻🌻 I love all the animals and Sunflowers!😊🌻
Me 2 soooo nice!
Mike, Tyanks SOO MUCH for carrying us and showing us around Germany, such a PEACEFUL & BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, now THESE are the vids I really enjoy 🤘
What a beautiful day in Germany! I would love to live there.
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful land.
I would live in Germany in a heartbeat - beautiful and very low crime compared to U.S. Every time I watch your videos, I feel like I'm on a trip without paying for it!
German homes are so beautiful as is the country. I would love to visit and LOVE the field of sunflowers!!
Wow Germany is very beautiful. I never knew what to imagine but that is absolutely beautiful. It seems that people are nicer and more out and about than in the US . I would love to go Germany because of this video it seems very nice and relaxing with so much nature and animals ❤.
Lots more cyclists and people enjoying the outdoors in Germany as it's insanely easy to get to nature from public transport. Sadly, the US is still far behind in that sense.
Yes, you definitely need to go out more. Away from the big cities you have such beautiful nature.
We in Germany simply love to enjoy nature.😊
I live in the countryside and I like it, because animals and plants are everywhere and it' s so peaceful...🤗
Ditto! You can have the city!
I learned that pigs cannot cool down by sweating, this is why pigs cool off in mud. I also learned that pigs are actually intelligent and can be taught to perform tricks. Chickens are very intelligent too, our chickens learned their names so whenever we called each name, the called chicken would come to us. We rewarded each chicken with treats for coming to us whenever we called each chicken by name. We are huge animal lovers and always enjoy your videos even more whenever you include animals ❤❤❤❤❤
Germany looks so beautiful and peaceful!
especially when you are riding along a river - just go into the ghettos of the city of Duisburg which is near by - and you will see a carbon copy of the dangerous cities of America - America was great under POTUS Trump - right now with Biden America is not sovereign - Europe is globalized and thus there are alot of problems when they only focus on climate change and open borders
Beautiful country, with all those greenery❤️🇵🇭
We’re loving your trip in Germany! We can’t wait to watch everyday.
Can't believe how green it is there. So beautiful. Your camerawork is great and looks as good as a tourism video.
WOW!! Such a beautiful country!!! Thank you for sharing from where you're from! I would love to live there! Looks so beautiful and peaceful! Such great footage! Again thank you for sharing! Stay safe and God bless! 🙏❤️🤗
I use to ride with my dad driving bus to Germany from Czech, always fun to get out see new places ... Absolutely like your natural perspective to all you show us, it just shows better the world we truly live in
It’s safe and no homeless! Yes it would be great to live there
Germany looks beautiful. I love the city but I would love to do art in nature. I love how you constantly run into viewers no matter where you are. You are loved all over the world GIV.😊
The German countryside is truly beautiful. LA is a cesspool
It's beautiful there! ❤ My parents visited Frankfurt many years ago, and they talked about how beautiful and clean it was. 😊
I guess as the old saying goes, "it's always greener on the other side".
Hello to your Mom. God bless you both. ❤🙏❤️
Have fun, my friend. 🤗
Love this! Love Germany! Love you! ✌️🌼 🇩🇪
I love the GIV but I think he's being incredibly harsh about his own country lol
It's lovely 😅
Thanks for having me along for the ride in Germany
Home is where the heart is ❤❤❤. To me home is where my daughter's and granddaughter are. ❤❤❤
I was stationed in Germany and found the country and people wonderful.
I actually tried to stay in the country after discharge. I didn’t qualify. 😊
did not qualify? what can get you disqualified for moving to germany they seem pretty open.
... as soon as you arrive at the airport throw away your passport, walk up to a policeman, scream ASYLUM and say your are from AFGHANISTAN. You will live very comfortably: children and wives can also follow of course if you are a moslem. Housing, schools, health insurance, everything is free for poor refuges from Africa. Only for MACHETES you must pay: this is no biggy, every person receives at least😊 600 € per month.
... forgot to mention that guns are illegal in Germoney ... 😜
@@monikagebhardt4590…which might be the reason it‘s a bit more peaceful ober here…
@@pitpfiff4705 some nerve. LOL!
Germany 🇩🇪 very amazing. Especially the countryside. Awesome video GIV.
My Dad was stationed somewhere in Germany in the 1950's. He LOVED it there.
HOLA MIKE THE GIV YOU ARE THE STARR.
WITHIN A VERY ANCIENT COSMIC SPIRITUAL
JOURNEY.... each moment is very precious.
LOVE YOUR ARTISTIC CREATIVE ENERGY
GRACIAS
DRIVE SAFE GIV MIKE
Beautiful Country Germany. Every US Soldier I ever met that did tour in Germany always say they want to go back. Friendly people great food picturesque landscape. Hills mountains rivers Beautiful ❤
I love L.A. ( especially Venice! ) but also loved Germany..especially the Bavarian Alps area into Austria and Switzerland too..beautiful! But also enjoyed Munich and Frankfurt. I love Europe and the UK period! Great video GIV
Maybe after college I'll live in beautiful and amazing Germany!!!!!!
Excellent editing Mike! You are good with a camera man! Absolutely beautiful society. Germany is incredible! I know you love LA, but this is just pure heaven. My dream is to move to Germany.... I am getting ready to do Aachen, Heidelberg, Bonn, Nordlingen and then Munich!
Can I hide in your suitcase? I visited Munich this year and if I had a job and could find a flat, I'd move back there in a heartbeat from the US. Grass is always greener I guess. But for someone who likes excitement I can see why the GIV prefers LA as there is always something kicking off!
@@MsTimelady71I'm sort of tired of al this American excitement. I see Germany and the surrounding areas as exciting in the same way Mike sees L.A. At least you can get in easier than I can! I have plans though I will make it to this heaven!
What a beautiful country, I had the most fun in Koln personally.
There's a saying: In Düsseldorf there's the money, in Köln there's the party.
Absolutely beautiful countryside
Germany is very beautiful! Looks liKe a very fun place. Thanks for bringing us along GIV!
I’m lmao when you are talking to and about the animals. Love it ❤😂😂😂
hey GIV....stop and smell the flowers !!
I love all the green open fields & the farm animals. I’d take that over the crowded freeways & noise.
Thanks again GIV.👍
I lived just outside Neuss, had a great time living and working in Germany. Even turned down living in Brisbane, Australia because I was loving it so much. Had to come back to Britain unfortunately.
German (back) in Germany! Such a great country with good food and good people.
Only need an Oscar now! Hahahaha….you are funny!
That is thistle. Butterflies love thistle.
Loved the countryside and the animals in this video, Germany is very beautiful, I love the parks and how everyone sits on the lawn near the river. Have a great time and enjoy your sweet mom~ God Bless You~
Bless Tommy! His one hour ride appears to have been closer to 3 hours! Good exercise!
Animals are great, nature is calming,my daughter go to the woods just to relax and have a coffee,it resets your mind and good health,,,and I live in Canada😊
That's awesome to be able to get that fresh food 24hr self service, all of that stuff would be stolen in 1 day in L.A. if that!
Glad to see you're having a great time there I love all those Sunflowers beautiful ❤️
Love all the animals 💞
Looking forward to your next video
Stay Safe Say Hello to Mom........
Germany is a beautiful country. I wish I could visit there. Lovely place to stay or live
Funny. I’m dual citizen but born in US but I’m ready to move back to Europe. Feels better to me there.
I'm dual American and moved to Europe, it is MUCH nicer here, I only wished I moved earlier!
Germany has really nice places to see!
Germany looks beautiful 🇦🇺
Germany!! Gorgeous Country!! I love your Videos, Mike!!
Greetings from Tijuana, México.. It was amazing to hear you say "elotes".. So nice to hear a spanish word in Germany. Wish I was there.
3:03 just beautiful. I love the field of many sunflowers. Just gorgeous.
I love these parts of Germany there are not many places in LA where you get privacy.
You'll have to go out to Death Valley to get privacy lol.
Yes true!
If you want privacy in L.A, you’d need to go where the serial killers are. 😂
you can always lock yourself in the restrooms...

Germany is beautiful, thanks for the tour 😊
Thanks for showing us another nice German excursion, GIV!
I'm used to green everywhere. I live in rural Kansas
Picking apples & fruits right off the tree how wonderful a gift that is ... lucky folks there🍎🍏🍑🍐
Thank You for the Videos you post, they are so entertaining.
I watch you every day. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
Your not the GIV until your back in Venice! Your The Notorious GIG!
I love hanging out with my German friend.
The late great John Denver's original name was John Dusseldorf😁
GIV: Thanks for the nice side trip with friends, to Duesseldorf. Nice to be able to see different parts of the world and what's going on there. Much appreciate your videos. WTG
Thank you for posting this video of Dusseldorf my Home town Love your videos thanks again :)
5 or 6 people giving the camera the "peace" sign. Even a cop. Love it.
Thank You GIV I love watching your Travel Video Back home in Germany !
Those funky buildings in Dusseldorf were designed by architect Frank Gehry (from Santa Monica). Gehry also designed the Disney Hall Opera House in downtown LA. Another California connection!
Fun video ... thanks GIV 👍.
That critter you saw swimming in the river was a Muskrat. Enjoy your visit with your Mom!
The domesticated/cultivated ones(Nutria) taste uniquely good! I can only recommend it to every meat lover.
Thanks for the relaxing tour of beautiful Düsseldorf!! My only view of Germany has been in the Frankfurt airport avoiding the scary airport police. 😬
So peacefull, so lush I’ll eat grass with the livestock lol.
4:44 Thistle
Beautiful countryside. Looks a lot like here in Tennessee.
And Virginia
Good one GlV.. beautiful day IN DUESSELDORF.. thanks !
Very relaxing this video! Last year I was in Duisburg. Liked the former industrial locations.
Hey Mike, thanks for another wonderful episode. And I loved the last one too with the hover system etc. Excellent, keep it up! 👍
Mike we love seeing you with your mom and friends in Germany! Would love to see a vlog of you all at
Augustiner Beer Garden on the Northside of the train station in Munich for Octoberfest!
I lived in a few cities, but always go back to the country. Love the country life. I'm here to stay.
Ain’t nothing better in my book!! 👍
Love this and Germany!
The show is now called GIG German in Germany, loveeeee the show
Greetings from Tijuana, México
Love your videos GIV!! Always looking forward to the next one 😊
Thanks for the tour around Dusseldorf. I always enjoy seeing my mom's hometown and the places we visited there
I really enjoy your trips to Germany. I’ve shared your videos with family in Hamburg.
Love your videos in Germany mike! Keep editing there and I love them when your moms in them ❤ she is so sweet and such a beautiful person. Keep up the good work Mike!! Your truest fan, Melina 😊
Like it? I love this video! Thanks for a glimpse of Germany that I've never seen before. My sister is visiting Germany right now. I like to see other cities in Germany celebrate Oktoberfest. Come on, Mike, let's see you in lederhosen!! How can I get a GiV sticker??
Looks like a great city. For quite a few Brits, we saw Dusseldorf on screen in the 80s in the BBC TV series Auf Wiedersehen Pet.
Definitely could live in Germany over LA. Part of the appeal of your channel is the gratitude it inspires that I don't live anywhere near LA and can avoid NYC since it's 5 hours away. Your German countryside scenery is much like it is here. While it is interesting to see the debauchery and disasters occurring in cities like LA, you couldn't pay me enough to live there. Glad you have mom to go home and visit.
This is great, much better than the same old Venice beach vids everyday. Keep it up, thanks. AIA “American in America”.
