Did you think about mounting the motor in the car before machining or acquiring a dummy motor?

Nope haha just working with what I've got. Once I get the engine and trans together I'll mock it up with the cherry picker and come up with something that will work! It will take some time and some innovation but where there is a will there is a way! The built engine will have a different geometry than the factory configuration because of the oil pan, headers, etc, so once things are together we'll mock it up and see what we have to do!

This build is sweet! you could just leave the brakes and do a single chute if thats aloud in the class you wanna run, are you gonna run a trans brake?

That’s a good idea! I plan on footbraking but I’ll keep the chute idea in mind!

appreciate the update dude! i cannot wait to see that little mustang with BIG chevy power in it. I hear you on the corvette tranny I just blew 3rd and 4th out of my 700r4 so next spring im doing a cammed 5.3 with a T56 tranny for my iroc. cant wait to see you projects getting built man stay grinding
