Best thought experiment ever: simple; easy to understand; way less depressing than the trolley experiment; and with lots of intelligent possible answers, most of which reveal something about the nature of stuff in general that someone might not have thought of before.
One could argue that the concept of the object called „Theseus Ship“ is not defined by the parts of the ship. Rather the ship is just an idea and the actual building blocks are only there to represent it? Just a thought tho
