- in chapter 2 age of war of conan exiles they removed all the kurak traders so how to farm steel bars in conan exiles chapter 2 now?
after many of you guys asking me over and over about what is the fastest way to farm steel bars in chapter 2 I made a lot of research and finally find the best way to do it !
all you have to do is to farm the den camp and also u gonna need to make the improve dismantling bench to earn a lot of early game steel bars .

Sepamaro has hidden chests with steal tools and weapons. Npc's also have a chance to drop steal. You cand get hardened steal and star metal from mounds and that nordheimer city.

Here is another way...tame them (especially t1s are quick) they come out with a steel weapon (bests are the ones with a weapon and shield), take their weapon and shield and free them. It is not instand at first, but you get way more this way.

You got too go and loot those chests in sepermeru there are a lot of perfect steel weapons and also level 60 pick archonian pick and found alot of hardende steel hatched

Normal steel is harder to get since you need it to make it Steel Reinforcement. If you want tons of Hardened Steel go to the NPC Castle thats added. All the NPC’s there spawn every 6 seconds and all deop a hardened steel weapon when killed.
I'm thinking you might be better off setting up an 8 man wheel, go capture gothrad in the mounds, and break all fighters/archers/dancers. Take their weapon and break bond.
Edit: at least after you get enough to make the wheel

Why a 8 man? Make 8 t1 wheels...just as good and cheaper
@@darkcat.gamingit only takes time and effort at first, but not ones it is build, since you are guaranteed to get a weapon and maybe shield off of every thrall, not just every "fifths"
Just get a T3 blacksmith and farm the golems trade in bloodcrystals for the chest and boom easy steelfire around 500 depending on bloodcrystals

hey ty for the vid there is a thrall that has an skill that helps with steel its a 1 iron = 1 Steel but you need to find him and i dont know where he is :D
Hey u mean lvl 3 or 4 black smith its normal but this tip is earlier than getting that thrall it's for stone age when u start a server for some fast steel bar 😅
They nerfed set city chests no steel or very little. I was thinking it would end up coming from that bench

@@darkcat.gaming True, but base building have always been best to do with T3 & T4 blacksmith as it cost one steel fire and one iron reinforcement. So extra steel bars are basically for crafting stations only.

My huge Base is built outside there kinda hell yea me n my buddies were just talking about how we need more steel. Got plenty of star metal and harden steel lol

I make steel bars with a t3 blacksmith. It’s a 1 for 1 iron to steel.
But u need steel fire that's normal way of farming steel like everybody else do this is extra tip spatially for early game

How about just simply farming resources?!... cuz that method didn't look efficient at all..
Yes ofc farming normal is good for late game when u want to build your t3 base and stuff but this is only an small boost for start when u are in stone age and low lvl

@@darkcat.gaming I usually get tek tier in a week. Been playing since day 1. It's not grindy if you get the correct dinos. Already doing boss fights on small tribes

@@darkcat.gaming they changed a bunch since day 1 tho. Before it was really bad but since adding new dinos and lowering tame times it's EZ. I just felt conan was a grind fest after the merchants left 😂 should try ark cause it's a different game since launch
