Thank you for this video. I think I'm going to buy this bike to alternate with my Enduro bike. I wait to know your opinion after riding (know if the feet do not jump from the pedals). Sorry for the google translation.
Very informative video Tess! I’ve been really enjoying both you and your husband’s videos since discovering your channel this week! A question if I may please: Did you pass the dropper remote wire / cable through the aperture on the right hand side of the top tube - the one near the handle bar stem? Was it tough to thread through and get it around and out at the seat post end?? Thanks in advance, RIchie :) 🇮🇪
Loki/Laufey are epic HT's! The 2019 Laufey was on my list originally for a HT but ultimately went with the DV9.. funny thing though, I got the Loki(Laufey) for my wife but she didn't show much interest... So, I ended up keeping it for myself.. she can ride it now and then but I'm going to tear it up lol. Pretty much stripped it and rebuilt it, currently running XX1 drivetrain different dropper than stock cause it was garbage and Code RSC brakes (180mm F/R) among other things added. On your final review of the current Laufey, can you throw some inputs on your old one too? I'm interested to hear your take on the 2018/2019 model. I asked Steve if he could put his .02 too since he did the DV9 recently!
Can this Laufey be used also as a commute bike as well as trails? Im looking for a bike that will do both. My work is about 6 miles and trails about 10miles away. Im thinking 12 speed, will i be peddling like crazy in the bottom gear to get anywhere? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks
@@dustybettymtb thanks dusty, i was just worried about the gear ratio. i dont want to buy the laufey if im finding im peddling like mad on the asphalt going to work.
Curious to see your ride impressions of this bike. I am considering this bike, lower end spec, and the Orbea alma among a couple others. Getting a demo has been problematic.
@LoboLouie Hello from the Basque Country! I ride an Orbea Alma H20 Eagle with 29er 2.6 tires (vittoria mezcal) because I usually ride on a concrete /gravel "road" which is in an incredibly poor condition (even enduro bikers complain about it when they have to ride a part of it, imagine). Moreover, I ride with tubes and against many people's advice with really low pressure but no flats yet. With the Alma is enough for this kind of terrain, specially if you are more into ascending (Alma much much better) rather than descending (Laufey far better). By the way, I'm dying to know the weight of your bike Betty.
Seems to large for you, the bike size seem to big and long and the 29ers 2.6 are some big tires to push around... will be interesting to hear your impressions. Glad you got to test an Orbea 👍
...great video...i'm looking for a bike for my wife.. the bike is great..just I'm not sure about the size ... how tall are you ?? you have an m frame in the video ...
Hello! I have the same bike on the way and I wanted to ask your opinion. Does it allow a 32T oval dish? Would you replace it? Would you change the covers for 2.4WT for better rolling, or leave the 2.6?
how do you have the money to buy bikes when you have to buy diapers. i mean where do ya'll get your money from. the way i see it you have a kid to raise.

What kind of stand are you using to hold the bike? Where we can find it?
Wow. Leave it all black, such a great looking, and great bike.
Miss Dusty I want to thank you for the reviews that you are doing. Keep it up it's much appreciated and you're doing a great job.
Great looking bike , I got a 2021 laufey hard tail and I just love the bike it’s been so good to me , thank you for your awesome video 🤙
Sweet! I'm definitely going to save up for a hard tail since watching you and Steve! Hope all is well ♥️
Bravo orbea, I'm excited to see the geo updates.

That’s an awesome bike. I dream of having a Laufey
WTB Koda saddle in 150mm is the best saddle I've ever ridden and it's a woman's specific saddle apparently. Try one ASAP!

I got that model and for the budget its a great bike but mine has rockshox recon 140mm
What size it bike and how tall are you? Thanks in advance
Enjoying your's and Steve's reviews of hardtails! I thought maybe the bike had a Lauf fork, sorta disappointed about that.
What size rotors do they come with? Are the Forekaster true 2.6 or undersized 2.6?
what size arm and how tall are you

i have some rock bros on my bike so far not had a problem with them.
Do you get the t shirt with the bike, not that it's a deal breaker like...... Love the steralth look though :)
How tall are you if I may ask? I'm getting this bike for my wife and deciding now between S and M. She is 168 cm tall
