Great tips! My son is turning 3 years old, 16 kg in weight and 98 cm in height, about 85 percentile. I am shopping gear for his first snow season 2023-2024, when he will be 3 years and 10 months old. Do you think 17.5 size boots and 90 cm skis would be suitable? If the boots are roomy for the first season, can I use shoe insoles? thank you!
Yes it is perfect north! Is that where you go? Regarding gear, check out the video description because we put in links to all of the stuff we got for the kids. Let us know if you have any questions.
Have you had any issue with the Wedgease toe clamps breaking? A lot of reviews on Amazon say that they snapped right away. We're hoping to take our toddler out soon and right now we have a homemade rig for around the yard but it's not perfect.
darkchocmoose great question. We read the same reviews and decided to move forward with the wedgies anyway. Fortunately we have not had an issue with the toe clamp breaking. However, we have noticed that they would slowly come off after several runs. So we found it important to stop and readjust occasionally. With that said, my 2 year old son did not like the wedgies. He would get frustrated with the wedgies as he was working on his Dino stomps. So he doesn’t use them anymore. My daughter, now 4, has also advanced beyond the wedgies and is working on side stops by herself. So even though we found them beneficial as we were getting started, it was important to look for when they were not helpful anymore. I hope this helps! Enjoy the slopes!

Is that Perfect North? Also, where did you find the gear? I’m having a hard time finding skis and boots for my toddler
