- In this video, I will compare and review Dehn el oud oils from Swiss Arabian which are Dehn el Oud Mubarak, Dehn el Oud Shaheen and Dehn al Oud Cambodi. I would discuss which oud you should buy as a beginner and which is not for beginner oud lovers.

I am just a starter with ouds and blind bought the Cambodi one. You are absolutely right, do not blind buy it :D When looking at you the way you opened it, put your nose next to the bottle and smelled it, it made me think that you have some superpowers :)))
When someone is starting oud, I remember my first sniff and it was Arabian Oud "Qadeem Oud" which was not totally pure but I was overwhelmed by it. I said to myself "Who would put this on" this is too woody like I have put my nose in the tree trunk and very cloying too. If you want to sniff real sweetness of Oud, then start sampling Artisanal Oud Oils like start with Borneo or Thai Oud oils or Malaysian or Indonesian Oils. I will make a video on all the flavors of Oud Oils and how different regions have different scent profiles...
And my wife still don't like 99% of my Oud Oils but my daughters and one son do. Some Oud Oils start emitting their beauty after application of 30 minutes as they need heat to emit their scent.

Hahaha, Perfumes are for others, Ouds are for me. So to smell good or going out I mostly put perfumes but when going to bed or praying at home, I use Oud oils. Pure Oud, Tibetan Musk and Sandal Oil are the three most loved smells for me

Brother, is the Cambodi smells barnyardish during the dry down or just the opening. I tried few cheap oud oil before like Dehn Oud XX but I dislike the incense smell. However I really like Oud 6000 by Shurfan.
Mostly soaked Cambodi might give some barnyardish smell but good any good Cambodi oil, they are lovely. Oud Cambodi from Swiss Arabian doesn't have any barn to my nose
I'm curious to know how the oud malaki compares to these. Is it on the stronger, more funky side?
Oud Maliki might be very close to Oud Cambodian. Maliki Ouds are normally sweet in nature like Cambodian Oud oils
Assalamualikum brother, can you suggest me pure hindi oudh from ajmal perfumes ? I bought dehnal oudh rashid it smells like leathery from start to end..i like smell that should be change in dry down

Yes, Oud Mubarak is lovely sandal kind of light oud. For me, I am not that expert but people mix ethanol 99% in oils to create perfumes.

How is Swiss Arabian’s Cambodi compared to Ajmals dahn al oud oils?

None of them, maybe a light touch there in Oud Shaheen. But I personally loved Oud Cambodi as it has tobacco note, with sweet camphor like caramel sweetness along with dense woodiness

I contacted swiss arabian and they told me mubarak und shaheen are a mix of oud oils and natural components.
Cambodi is a real (100%) oud oil
Yes, this is what I said. I agree. Their Cambodi was a nice sweet wet tobacco note kind of Cambodi

Here in India. When ever I come across an arab, who will be wearing typical Arabi white long dress I get this peculiar smell from them and I am searching for that sort of scent since very long time.
Can you suggest me any perfume that smells that way??
They mostly smell of burned agarwood or Bakhoor burning. They use Oud Oils a lot. Try Arabian Oud "Majestic Special Oud" which is indian oud kind of scent. Second one try to Swiss Arabian Oud Shugaf, Oud Aswad series

Difficult to find but maybe you can get. There might be few people in Pakistan who have it. Or check the Pakistan Oud Forum facebook group

If you are not familiar with Oud Oils then don't go for it. If you are a bit familiar then the Green box is the one for Oud Cambodi (discontinued)

I would like to know about ajmal dhan al oudh shams concentrated oil is it pure oud ?and i think it is hindi oud .

I sniffed a perfume with a similar name from Ajmal and it was hindi oud kind of scent from that perfume. Didn't remember smelling shams but I think it would be Hindi mostly. As shams means sun so it would be from Assaam or Nagaland India

Most affordable ouds are not pure. Pure oud oils start from at least $100 per 3grams. Or anything above 15000 Rupees for a 3ml bottle

Yes, only Oud Cambodi seems like 80 to 90% pure. For me only Oud Cambodi is worth buying

I have not checked cambodi but i checked both mubarak and Shaheen
If u very new in oud field than mubarak may be attractive but its more like Mukhallat that is very less oudi. Whereas Shaheen is also Mukhallat but its more on oudi tone. I like Shaheen alot despite i have used many other ouds like dehn al oud arzan, Mukhallat dehn al oud moattaq dehn al oud Nuwayrah etc. but i find a very balanced between hard and light oud. And i dont know who invented this terminology of Barnyard for oud fragrance…. I really don’t like this word to be used with oud. Believe me i was also a lover of French perfumes but now i like oud more than anyother fragrance. And I would suggest all those who are not familiar with oud that get some good quality (mostly expensive) oud bottle and keep using it continuously for 1-2weeks and then u will not like any other fragrance believe me. Actually oud is not only a fragrance it has many many other uses. Its one of the best effect which I utilize is that it gives ur brain a fresh restart whenever u smell it. Literally u become fresh after smell oudh
Cambodi is the best smell. Sweet sharp and Tabaccoish. It has turned beautiful in few years. Try that if you can
