    I have a best practice question. I am going to use a room block link to book 9 rooms for C Suite Team. Should I book each person one at a time? I need a room confirmation per person for records and travel purposes. So, I was thinking one at a time. But then the credit card will have all of these charges showing instead of one single charge and my boss may think it's strange. Not sure the best way to do this.

      @theexceptionalassistant  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi - I would call the hotel and see if they will book the 9 rooms for you with one credit card and ask them to provide you with separate reservation numbers, if they say no, then I would reserve the rooms separately so you have the individual reservation numbers.

      @@theexceptionalassistant Thank you so much! Also, I keep getting push back albeit gentle from the former Incumbent on how to do things. But all of the suggestions are the exact opposite of what my Exec tells me to do. So I do things per his instructions. I feel like I’m caught in the middle.

    What I am confused about is how is all this info typically presented to executive? On a standard Word itinerary? On an Outlook calendar appt? I know different execs will have different preferences, but could you tell us some of the ways you typically give them all info they need re: international stipulations, car rentals, etc?
    Also, if there are issues with their travel (e.g. flight cancellations), do they contact you (even after hours) or do they resolve themselves?
    Thank you.

    • @theexceptionalassistant
      @theexceptionalassistant  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there - you wouldn't present all the information to your Executive, these were all examples but here is what I will tell you, set a 1:1 with your executive and ask what their preference is for flying. If the meeting location is close to the airport, Uber would work fine but if its a ways away, a rental is the way to go

      @theexceptionalassistant  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, I didn't answer the second half of your message. For urgent issues, if your company uses a travel agency then they should contact them after hours but there will be times when they will call you to call for them, just an FYI.

      @@theexceptionalassistant Thank you so much for the reply. I mean for their actual itinerary, not during the planning process. But I googled and saw that they typically put them on a word doc. Thank you. 😊
