If they gave shuckle a evolution it means eviolite shuckle and shuckle both defense and special is 230 and add eviolite makes it 230 x 1.5 eviolite = 345 defense and special defense in both. That will make shuckle defensive as a nuke-proof bunker.
let alone that, eviolite boosts the actual stat, not just the base stat (like how light ball pikachu has similar attack to M-Ray) so itd be even higher

As much as these pokemon are able to protect themselves, they possibly have threats they have no knowledge of, which explains mismagius, farigiraf, hounchkrow etc for new generations

I had a thought about why the shaking of Maractus' parts would scare away birds, but then I remembered that, unless I'm mistaken, everywhere that wild Maractus are found, there are no wild snake Pokémon. Normally, the needles of a cactus would deter birds in the real world. It would make for an interesting adaptation for cacti to develop seeds in some of its parts to rattle in order to trick birds into thinking that there's a rattlesnake lurking nearby. If venus flytraps are plants that can develop moving parts for catching prey, it wouldn't be too crazy for a plant to learn to scare away pests or predators. Rant aside, it would be cool if Maractus gained an evolution in a future region that required having a snake Pokémon in the party like how Mantyke needs a Remoraid to be present in order to evolve. The evolution could have a symbiotic relationship where it protects the eggs of the snake Pokémon from either larger reptile Pokémon or bird Pokémon, while the snake Pokémon could protect the evolved cactus from either insect Pokémon or provide some other benefit.
As we all know, Relicanth is a Pokemon which has not undergone form change in roughly 100 million years. That is because Relicanth is the perfect lifeform, and has had no need to evolve through the process of biological evolution or Pokemon evolution.

I wish to see explanation for all legendary pokemon - and which of the 'legendaries' should not be considered as legendaries anymore (like legendary birds IMO - not only we can obtain multiple specimens in let's go games but they also got regional variants)

What about Pokémon that needs to be the right gender to evolve like combee and salandit only the females can evolve combee to vespiquen and salandit to salazzle. The pokedex says that male salandit cannot evolve due to the lack of food as the male must give most of the food the female as the female control the males to do it's bidding and the female salandit have enough food for evolution. So food also plays a part in evolution What if you catch a male salandit and give all the food that is needed for evolution what would be the male salazzle.
