Kohler 20KW Generator: Oil Check Procedures

Anthony Valle of Northeast Generators in Scotch Plains, NJ explains exactly how to maintain your generator in the event of an extended power outage.
1. Unlock the lid
2. Kill the power
3. Push the off button
4. Let it cool down for a few minutes
5. Pull the dip stick
6. Check the oil level
7. Add oil (if necessary) a little bit at a time
8. Put the cap back on
9. Close the hood
10. Put the generator in the automatic position
11. Turn the circuit breaker back on
