  • In this Parry Sound two part feature, Jon tours the 30,000 Islands in a super-dry Jeanneau NC 795 pocket coupe. Given the wild conditions on Georgian Bay, this boat was perfect for tumultuous fall boating. After visiting an old ghost town in Depot Harbour and finding shelter in Deep Bay, we continue to Killbear, Snug Harbour, Regatta Bay and spend the night at the Rockwood Resort in Sand Bay. The next morning we make a run to Red Rock before dropping the SUP in Windsor Bay for one last paddle of the year.

Loved the video. Would like to do a similar trip but shorter version late September. How long would it take to boat casually from Parry Sound to sand Bay (Rockwood Resort) ? Thanks

Hi Rick - depending on the wind and the waves an easy cruise in less than an hour @ 20 MPH
