the guinea pig looks more like a capybara to me.

The names of the various cities on Erros are ancient regions and landmarks (Media is a region of ancient Persia and Babylon, Langia is a spring in Greece, Arcadia is a region on the Peloponesse isthmus of Greece).
Erros could mean mistakes, vacilations, or wanderings, or it could be an alternate from of Eros, a greek god of love, passion, and fertility.

Kinda? Although modern art is kind of a misnomer at this point, since the style itself is nearly 75 years old. To me, Modern mostly refers to a style that stopped being widely popular in the late 90's or early 00's.
