I actually had to do that shortly after this video was shot and ran into the same issue. I had some other ones laying around that worked though. Pretty sure they were tekno but I’d have to find the package for the size.
@@rcjoe406 ahh hopefully that holds up for you. If not, I am pretty sure the ones I used were TKR1222. At least that’s the only empty shim bag I am finding at the moment!
I have two ryfts one has hobby wing fusion pro 2300kv with two speed and I use a full size servo mounted upside down the other has castle 1512 1900kv with two speed I also used the vitavon redesigned trans shaft which eliminates the e clip that makes stock shaft week also comes with shims alien the gears better How did you set yours u
Nice that’s interesting, I’d like to see the full size setup. I am running a micro power hd tr4. I burnt some up until I made sure the shift shaft was sliding smooth and the end points weren’t too far. Had to drill out the case a bit and I can’t remember but I might have left out a piece inside like people were recommending. It’s been holding up for a while now on mine.
I have been running a castle mamba monster x esc and Holmes 2700kv puller pro motor for a while now. Runs a bit hot in high gear but I tend to use low for most of the run which helps. I have a hobbywing 3200kv in my other one that my wife runs and it is pretty similar with a bit more speed.
@@PSF_RC-PatSmageFilms Thx mate, looking for some hybrid build trailing/bouncing with little crawling but mostly want stock spektrum replaced with sensred ,so will go for mamba x and holmes 2700 a u said...
I have bent a few but they usually hold up for a while. It usually takes a pretty heavy hit at the right angle to bend them bad enough to need straightening/replacing.
@@alexonryusakiriman I have been keeping them stock. Might be worth trying an upgrade at some point but they have been lasting long enough for me for now.
Nice! Amazing hill. My ryft should be finished by the weekend. Very excited!
Oh heck yeah! Enjoy. It’s a fun rig.
Looks like the perfect spot for the rift. Good run
Thanks for checking it out! Definitely one of my favorite spots for it. Tons of lines!
beau franchissement 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!

Is your stock axle shafts is good? Not bending cause of lot of jumping?
Mate, which combo ESC/motor you find best, and stays at the end in your ryft?

@@PSF_RC-PatSmageFilms do you upgrade/change it or you still using stock shaft?
