Its funny how you two was jamming to the other songs and being so quiet and touched by the last one.
This album is so special not only because it's their first, but we know how much they worked so hard on this. It's so meaningful mostly talking about their experiences and hardships they've gone through the years. Blackpink as a group and as individual members received a lot of unnecessary hate, criticisms, and judgment since their debut. So I'm not really suprised if they somehow responded back thru this album. But they are really humble and kind to be honest. Most of the people don't realize that they are just like other human beings too who only wanted to fulfill their dreams and give their best effort to be loved by their fans and live with peace. Yes, these girls are really special! Thank you so much for reacting!
You never know explanation:
Jisoo : it's breaking me down down down
Haters called out to jisoo that she is the black hole of Blackpink saying she can't dance, sing, rap or she isn't even that beautiful. This has caused Jisoo to doubt herself and her talents.
Lisa : I've heard enough of the things that I'm not
Lisa has been called malnourished, she's a skeleton, she can't do blackpink choreographies bcoz she doesn't have enough strength etc.
Haters also said Lisa can't sing and this was a huge slap on their faces.
Jennie: chorus
During the solo era, she's suffered a lot. I'll tell you in sequence.
Called YG princess because she went solo first before the members. Said YG favoured her over the others.
Called lazy coz she skipped some dance moves in award shows. Later revealed that she had fractured the same ankle 2 times and hurt the same spot over 9 times.
Called fat coz she has baby fat. As you can see, Jennie is very child like and when she smiles her cheeks expand. Told she had too much fat at the cheeks. Told she was fat from the waist as she didn't have abs (she had🙄).
Then it was released that she was dating Kai and all the hell broke loose.
Jennie is one of the MOST HATED idols in Korea. She gets hate even for just wearing a fucking dress for an MV.
Mind you, all of this happened....so much in the timespan of A MONTH. Imagine getting so much hate in a month!! We love our queen mandu who didn't give up and kept fighting back❤️
Rosé : even though the world is changing, I'm still the same. I danced everyday.
Rosé used to try very hard but she felt that she could not reach the level of other trainees. She used to stay in the practice rooms till dawn but she wasn't satisfied with herself. Before chae joined YG, she was a cheerleader in Australia. She had never danced before. Jennie taught her and helped her. Chae was one of the worst dancers among the trainees and now she's Blackpink's lead dancer ❤️

This album is very different from a lot of their stuff. They always come back with different, unique songs and keep surprising us. Rapper and English Jisoo blew me away.
I can't believe The Album ends with the track You Never Know which literally talks about not judging these girls - and then people complained about Jennie's nurse outfit in the Lovesick Girls video to the point where YG has now removed that scene from the official video. In the behind the scenes of the MV, she was saying how excited she was to play two characters, and now it's gone. How disappointing. Talk about emotional. This song definitely had me in my feels for sure.
I feel you there. I really like that scene and it really fits her rap. I was so sad that it have to be deleted 😢. It's one of Jennie's best scene too 💔

The instruments in this album is so dynamic. Lyrics wise, I personally think every song in this album is so well written. Also, I love how they convey a personal message to the haters. And that last song, 'you never know' made me so emotional.🖤❤️

Lovin your reaction to the whole album and how you understand and relate to the message of each songs. You Never Know is such a killer outro because it speaks to the haters. They have been receiving numerous amount of hate even just for breathing, damn. People needs to realize that idols are human too. And I am so proud of blackpink for not giving up and still shows the world so much optimism.
I also suggest you watch BLACKPINK: LIGHT UP THE SKY on netflix. It is their documentary film and you'll love them more after watching it.
A lot of people didn’t like crazy over you because it’s different and it’s not a beat you hear from them. It’s a different beat and vibe but in my opinion i actually liked it since you can tell they changing and not just sticking to that hard type beat
This song is a grower just like How you like that. The unexpected beat changes makes you love it at the first listen or not feeling it at all. But after listening to it more, you love it. Lot of people love it
