- To think its been 44 years since the original Halloween changed the slasher genre forever is amazing. Now we have the end of it all. Halloween Ends, the final showdown between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. Does this film stick the landing and send this franchise off the right way or is it just another sequel that depends on nostalgia? Unfortunately its the latter. In this video I'll tell you exactly why Halloween Ends pissed me off!

Yeah for a slasher film it failed, for a horror movie it failed, for a final entry in the Micheal Myers and Laurie strode arc....ot failed...furthermore I now havw a new fond respect for Halloween kills because at least that felt like a Halloween Micheal Myers film
And Halloween ends without Michael Myers is like IT rarely being in his own movie🤦

You spend an hour and half with this character who was never introduced in the other movies, you are almost forced to like him and feel anything for him just for him to off himself in the end. You tell me he steals Michael’s mask and Michael nor Lori get the satisfaction of ending him? Last movie of the trilogy is spent getting to know a character just for nothing to happen. Super disappointing movie sadly. I wanted Michael and Lori to fight like kong and Godzilla did or something lol. You hit all the points on the head though, nice video.

Sadly this is another example of how out of touch Hollywood is right now. It’s one disaster after another, and I’m bummed because I was so hyped about this movie. I feel exact same on every issue you stated.

Halloween 5 1989 Halloween ends for me in 89, not this reboot, again and again? They can't recapture the late 70's and early mid 80's of Friday the 13, Nightmare on Elm street, because it was original.
