I brought this curlier about a year ago and have been trying your technique for ages but my hair doesn’t seem to hold curls I’ve just watched a GHD stylist curl a clients hair with this tool but starting at the roof of the hair wrapping the hair round the styler and then using the clamp so all the hair is clamped in :) just tried this on my self and cut is going strong! I love your videos so much! Just if anyone is struggling try the technique from GHD :) x

Thanks very much, that means a lot to me! I tone my hair to refresh the color after about 6-8 weeks but it was never that orange again. Purple shampoo will keep it ashy. I've bleached my hair twice since the first video and will make another tutorial when I do it again as it's a bit more complicated to explain in short. The color I used at the ends is Iridescent Iced Milkshake (9.12) and the roots Dark Ash Gold Blonde (6.13) mixed with Very Light Ash Gold Blonde (9.13) 50/50. Let me know how it goes! If it doesn't change your hair much, you probably have to bleach it lighter xx

Your hair colour in this video is a lot like how mine turned out when I tried to get it to a greyed look. Maybe I should stick to the blond I think they grey ash is harder for me to accomplish.

Errrrrr.....NOT a good idea to use scorching hot curling tongs with so much "exposed" skin!! I always cover up my skin well and sometimes even use a thin chiffon scarf tied around my neck if I'm working close to the neck hairline. Yeah, you can feel a bit warm, but it's SO MUCH better than an ugly (and very painful) burn mark on your neck. Burn marks can leave a scar also!!!!

i think its worth it if you have really long hair id just say you may need to hold it for a little longer x

I used the Schwarzkopf Igora Vario Blond Plus Dust Free Bleach but I'm sure most will give you the same result x

Grey or silver is super difficult. Your hair needs to be lighter than this to achieve it 😊
