H Daniel! We just discovered your channel and we love how thoroughly you explain everything. We watched the one on the mondo grass yesterday, which has convinced us to plant that as a border in the fall. We just bought a Clematis Arabella yesterday, and as luck would have it, I found this episode which will be helpful for us, as well! Keep them coming! Your English is crazy good, by the way! Cheers! 🫶🏽
Hi Daniel. We all know that preparing the ground is not the most glamorous job, but it is worth it in the end and putting in a brand new plant is the fun bit. That clematis will be lovely. Looking forward to seeing this part of your garden developing over the coming months. Gina
You’re absolutely right Gina. At least I enrich and improve the soil by planting. I’m those areas where I mainly grow annuals I can already see the difference in the soil 🤗 Can’t wait to give you updates on how the Clematis will bloom this year ☀️ Happy weekend to you
That gives me hope 🤗 I love words such as ‚trouble-free‘. I‘ll combine the clematis with roses. Such a classic combination. I‘m considering a rose that Carol Klein grows in her garden 🤍 Happy weekend 🙋🏻♂️
You have 'couch grass' - as we do, it's an absolute nightmare. If you cover an area with old plastic bags, left for a couple of years, that might - might stop light and air which it neds to grow. No promises!
Oh my… couch grass sounds so innocent and comfy but it’s anything but 😂 I was gone digging my way through inch by inch. Last thing I was missing was a sieve 🫣 So far it looks pretty well. Once I see grass popping up I immediately remove it including the root 🤞🏼 Wishing you a lovely weekend

Gran dia
Thank you so much for always watching and complimenting my videos 🤗
I have four of them, they do flower for a long time, even in my poor soil, and they are trouble-free.

@@balticgardening4002 I grow mine with hybrid musk roses. Which rose in her garden do you mean?
