Always nice to see people getting into The Bass Gang. Hopefully, you can get into some of Colm's solo stuff, he had been my favorite solo artist for the last year
I'm not sure if you worked it out but the member of TBG speaking at the end of each video was the one who arranged it. They really found the perfect collaborators for each track. Looking forward to seeing you cover Vol. 3... make sure to watch in order for the story to make sense.... "Arabian Nights", "Be Prepared", "Gaston", and finally "Friend Like Me"
What they said😂. In order is the way it works. Please check out Hooked On A Feeling... *request: Casper Fox - The Lion Sleeps Tonight (he's the manager for TBG & a great acapella singer in his own right) ❤ ❤. Hugs from Newfoundland 🍁 (yes.. I'm bingeing your playlist)
Tomi’s arrangements are usually really complex, and very bass-forward (Mad World). He’s also great at riffs, and I’ve been waiting for you to notice his incredibly high harmonies-that’s actually him hitting notes in the 6th octave. All the guys have incredible range but at last measure Tomi’s is around 6.5 octaves. He’s built quite a catalogue on his solo channel as well. Marwan’s arrangements (Centuries) often have bell tones-I’m still gobsmacked that he’s working at this level and isn’t yet even 20. Plus he’s super gracious when you post nice comments. Definitely check his solo channel. He has some amazing work there as well. Bobby seems to favor kind of haunting songs-he arranged Santiago, and between this channel, his solo channel, and the Wellermen channel he has quite a lot of great music. I love how rich his tone is. And Peter has a few great songs on his solo channel (Enemy, It Won’t Be Me, a couple Avi Kaplan duets with Bobby, etc.) as well as incredible reactions that go way out in the weeds about music theory and voice-he’s brought back a lot of stuff I learned in college and I really wish he’d been my teacher when I took music theory. I might have understood it. LOL. I’m sure someone has probably mentioned Peter is a professional opera singer, and he has a few operatic solos as well on his channel. He’s quite a good actor as well as singer. If you want to do something Christmassy before the 25th, you might check Elliott Robinson’s channel-he has a video, “Not So Mean” that is about the Grinch. It’s original and crazy good. He did a really interesting interview with Qofy that’s worth checking out in your spare time (LOL). Great reaction!!
I've been waiting for this reaction!!!! Don't you just love them?!?! I think my favorite track on that one is Yellow Flicker Beat. These guys are just amazing and I'm so happy that you love them as well. As someone mentioned below, I can't wait for you to react to volume's 1 and 3!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!! Took 3 days to make, lo. I love reacting to this group and I'm so excited to react to Vol. 1 & 3!! I have a new reaction coming out tonight for a artist I havent reacted to yet, so that one will be fun!! Thanks again🙃
Good to watch this reaction. When is the Vol. 3? You'll be further impressed by TBG with their outrageous ranges and arrangements. In Vol. 3 lets go Disney
This was the album where i really fell in love with the bass gang all the songs and guests are perfect :) Tomi you will often see as Tomi P online, I really recommend checking out the Disney alum vol 3, if you do it like this it will be really fun but i imagine thats a lot of work. Each take the lead/named character in the song they arranged so you have Marwan as Aladdin in Arabian nights, followed by Tomi as Scar in be prepared, Peter as Gaston in Gaston, and Bobby for friend like me :) keep an eye on the lamp :P
Oh i forgot to say in my other comment, Malinda is actually how i found Bobby and the rest of the Bass gang! I actually knew her from "google translate sings" / "twisted Translations" ages ago... those channels are hilarious she converted song lyrics from a bunch of translation filters :) "shape of you" and "Africa" are ones i weirdly hear her lyrics of instead of the originals XD and on listening you will see just how barmy it is XD
WOW, that is so cool!! I'm excited to react to all those videos on this channel... looks like i better prepare for some comedy🤣🤣are those exact videos on her channel?
yeah the channel is called twisted translations these days (she also has one for more normal singing which is simply MALINDA) th-cam.com/video/WdYCIqCj7IE/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/Rte07sl3Vf4/w-d-xo.html Be prepared to feel baffled by what comes out, but her voice is gorgeous and her sense of humour is amazing
@@toddmaliepaard9777 gradually watermelon? XD I honestly wonder how long she looks at the lines before being able to sing them without giggling XD I have a feeling some of the old videos she had quite a bit of fun editing them :P

I really enjoy these guys. Interesting piece of trivia - Elliott Robinson was the bass for Home Free back in the pre-Tim Foust days.
16:01 it was D1 chest ))
Great reaction to a great EP!
8:10 his name is Tomi 😁
Joyo (jonathan young in the centuries song)is amazing if youve not seen any of his stuff 😊💜💜

Elliot doesn’t do any subs or vocal fry. His is all chest and he can go lower. He was in Home Free for a year touring with them before they added Tim.
OK, that's just flat-out so cool! Does home free have any music videos with him in them?
