I bought one back in 2011 for a gas saver to run around it and mines got a little over 200k now it has a broken upper timing chain guide but runs great other then that I sure hope it’s still going at 345k, still debating on if I can just change the guide and tensioner or just go ahead and have it all replaced car runs great over then a light rattle at cold startup for around a minute.
You probably could just replace the guide and reset the tensioner but you might as well do the timing chain set. My Cobalt with 345,000 mi still has the original timing chain and guides but I've replaced other timing chain sets at 150,000 👍👍👍
That was funny, 🤣 🤣 I didn't even realize I called it a Chevy Prius Lol 😂😂 But now that I've been thinking about it maybe I'll do a sleeper Prius and put a ecotec 2.2 in it or better yet a 2.0 turbo SS
