Also the school itself. There are supposed to be student support protocols in place to isolate suicidal and/or disturbed students. If counselors or social workers are not available, the appropriate protocol is to notify the local 302 - simple! From there, parents can connect with those teams for management.

They can't handle their own lives so they have a kid and can't handle her, the police have been called there a bunch of times but the child is still allowed to live in that toxic environment??? Now the mother gets pregnant again by a husband that she can't stand and on and on it goes. The end of the story the mother makes a cash grab by suing everyone and the poor kid gets NOTHING but a crap life with crap parents!!!

The initial call was family trouble; why was a social worker or emt not called out as well to handle the mental health call when it was made known in the beginning that the child was suicidal? The way these officers handled this incident is completely unacceptable. Not once in the video (that was shown) did anyone try to deescalate the incident or actually try to understand the little girl.

Share the book "Police Stops Notebook"...it's on amazon. It has specific questions a person can use during and after police stops. It's worth looking into for helping people protect their rights when being stopped by the police. Imagine if everyone had a tool like that in their car. Police hate having to answer questions and providing information. Not a permanent solution, but it is something that can empower people. Most people don't know the officer's badge or car number. Share the book!

Otherwise, no meaningful changes will happen. I won't be surprised if Internal Affairs investigate themselves and conclude that the officers did nothing wrong.
