      I spent about 10 years living in Los Angeles, and felt almost sick to see the soulless buildings being built out of trashy materials that only last a couple of decades. I wish we could bring back a higher standard of architecture and construction standards in the USA.

      @@haystack1313 the old castles are often quite breezy also. They are often sold for what seems like an affordable price, but the buyer isn't allowed to modernize and has to keep the building in good repair. Heating has to be the major challenge without "the staff."
