- BYD will show you a sure fire way to kill lawn Pest and how to get rid of fire answer. 20 to 30 percent of the problems with your lawn comes from lawn insects. they do things to your Bermuda lawn that you would not even think of. They eat the grass roots, some eat the leaf of the grass. some just make it uncomfortable for you to enjoy your Bermuda lawn or cool season lawns. My favorite product to use is Spetracide ( non Sponsored ). I use Specticide Triazicide because I believe in this product. It works and it is affable. Bifen XTS works wonders on all yard insects, I've been using it for approx 10 years just spray yard once in spring. I had a irragation system installed last week, guy stated he has never installed a system without seeing at least a few grubs but he stated my yard was completely grub free. I’ve always used the granular but never thought about adding the spray for the beds and surrounding tree line. Thanks for the info! Also, I’d much rather watch a 20 minute informative video from BYD than a 30 minute sitcom.😁

Good video as always BYD. The orange bag I used last summer when when the ants were taking my Bermuda seeds and it took care of them quickly! Still waiting on to use the spray I’ve had too many storms here in Texas lately.

Lawn looks amazing, thanks for the video. I built a home over a year ago and trying to get the lawn looking really good and the grubs and moles have been killing me. I've killed a few moles with traps already but hoping if I take their food source away they go away. Just bought the spectracide

I went to get triazicide because I use it for ants but my dog had flees, had to pick up some ortho bug b gone instead they were out. Starting to fw the channel more often!

The reason why the shrubs and bushes trees don't get harmed by it is because It is a search small a mount . You can also use that product with the hose around the entryway windows garage an etc .
Awesome video. I just did those steps to my yard and have not seen a bug or flea in my yard and i had cats which I got rid off them and now I am free of bugs, fleas and cats. LOL

Great video! Those bugs are dead and gone now! I used the same fire ant killer on my yard and that ant mound was dead in about 30 minutes. I am going to try that Triazicide granules on my yard this weekend. I live in Texas and these fire ants and other yard bugs are no joke. 😂

Awesome video. Not too long, but jammed pack with useful insight. I am fortunate that much of what is discussed is what I am dealing with so far as pests, rodents, insects, etc. Also, the Wizz, do you recommend it for those already owning a traditional broadcast spreader that is used for fertilizing, etc. Finally, no idea what type of grass I have as it was preinstalled when I purchased the residence; however, all the tips you give seem applicable to my situation, so I am pressing forward accordingly.

I recently used triazicid because it was a $4 special at Home Depot. I use the whole bottle on a 700 square foot lawn because my old neighbor said he does the same thing I took his advice and it seems like it didn't hurt the lawn at all two thumbs up

I have that Spectracide bottle in my backyard but so scare of using it. I afraid it will poison and kill me so the bugs still in my lawn and shrubs. After watching this video, no bugs , insects, flies whatever going to mess with me. Thank you for the video.

Jon Hawkins granular seems to last longer but the hose end reacts faster. The product claims it kills grub but if I had a real grub problem I’d seek a product pacifically for that.
Does anybody know where you can buy a 200 ft hose or larger? My 50 ft just not going to reach all around my house smh.😕

This stuff works great my favorite because it takes them out. Wirks great for grubs and great for asian beetles. If you have the Japanese beetle use there specide beeyle killer.
Its very powerful stuff that works its the best stuff.
Even my father was impressed that it took out the bug problem because when we put it down the bugs left very fast and ths asian beetles were dropping.
Its also great if you gave a regular ant problem it takes out the ants quickly
I had some in the trees and on the ground so i first killed the ground ones with the pellets then sprayed the trees and i gave them the "rain of death" with the liquid version.
When should this be applied? I also just brought the Wizz.. Do you have a lawn care year around written out schedule I can download and view
Just these videos. As for insect control I’d apply early spring before or any time throughout the growing season.

Cutter may have a slight advantage but I’d suggest a granular and liquid attack to make sure.
I use Spectrecide particularly their weed control but I feel like maybe it's not as strong or good as they say they are?
Spectracide is a great product and its cheap but you definitely will have to treat the yard with multiple applications depending on how infested and mature the weeds are.

Personal options. Easier to remove. I like Pinestraw over mulch.

No, it rained 3 days straight after that, it also rained 2 days before. As a matter of fact it it raining 🌧 now, lol 😂
Well hell,💦🤯😂 I got Grubs!! I used Triazicide spray. I watered my grass hand. The first application I used was image kills nutsedge with the red label. Inside water in within 7 days. The fourth day I went and bought the image not spray again. First applied triazicide. Then I watered. In with image nutsedge killer. Haven't watered it in yet I was going to wait until Monday to do anymore watering. With this being said, what do you think?

I planned Bermuda grass and is turning yellowish and it's still a little small like even the tips of it as it's growing is turning yellow what could it be in what do I do
vincent garza there’s no quick fixes sometimes. It could be a numerous of things. A fungus, over watering, lack of nitrogen. Keep an eye 👁 on it for a week or two , still keep mowing and see what happens.

Yes but water 💦 it in first then mow when it’s dry.

You’ll have to check the bottle or go to any site that sells it and that info will be in the specifications.

What if someone has St. Augustine grass BYD?
I’d check the bag but for the most part I personally haven’t seen insect control sold at the big box 📦 stores that says not for this grass. It’s good for all unless it contains certain types of fertilizers 👍🏾

Darn, I wore gloves but didn't use mask. Just threw a whole bag around yard by hand... Sprayed water.. 1st time using it.
I always spray a zig zag 1ft border in the spring and fall around the house. Do wear a mask, and if you do it late in the afternoon you may come across a snake and look like a crazy man bug spraying a snake lol.
I just bought this granular not sure the best setting on my Scott's edge guard so I'm gonna try a low setting like 3 or 4
Just put two bag of this product out to fight armyworms. Dont wanna mess around and get behind those nasty yard demons
