@@xtsflame747 Well... The video and the comment i replied to talk about partion and emotions attatched to partion. Now when i talk about the sorrows brought out by partition, i genuinely feel and take into consideration thousands and thousands of people who had to separate themselves from their very root. There had been bloodshed before the partion. I never said peace prevailed all the time before partion but imagine someone coming and throwing you or me out of our abode... That will break us... nothing to fight for. This is what i wanted to express in the previous comment.
As far as bloodshed is concerned, Humanity is our rescue. Blood and gore since times immemorial have happened due to lack of basic human natute. Humanity has great power. Peace ! ✌

Quite frankly if someone kills your family member - you hunt them down and hurt them back fair enough - you don’t torture people of the same group! Both parties had no sense - they couldn’t control their anger and took it out on anyone and everyone- how is it they are managing to exist now in each other’s countries ? Because they’re not being ‘provoked’ that’s why, not because they enjoy ruining people for the fun of it (both are guilty of this)

Seeds of Indian partition started in the mind of an ambitious lawyer called Jinnah and supported by the British Raj to use this idea to divide India before their exit. It was half heatedly accepted by Mahatama Gandhi & Jawaharlal Nehru to keep peace and not have riots before independence, but they were wrong. Rest is in the history pages. My family was not directly linked to the partition so I don't have horror stories linked to my family's past, but I grew up listening and learning about this massive horror event, greatest massacre in human history. It played a huge role in my own understanding of the sub-continent, its psyche, trusts and mistrusts. The narrative of the partition turned out to be a genocide that no one ever expected. It's still unclear what caused the genocide, who instigated it and why after 70 years of independence the roots of hatred are still getting stronger each and every day. Peace is a day dream between the two communities. It is far and surreal and will remain such as long as hatred and violence based on 2 nation theory, 2 communities that cannot and will not live together continues to be the narrative on both sides of the Radcliffe line.

The British were against partition. The last viceroy of India tried to persuade Jinnah for a united India and he himself said that if he had know that Jinnah had TB, then he would most probably tried to sabotage the creation of Pakistan.

Nothing was half-hearted. Gandhi willingly pledged Congress support to Khilafat, which sowed the seeds of Partition. Ironically, Jinnah was initially opposed to the Khilafat.

    • @saanea2000
      @saanea2000 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Jinnah was dying of lung cancer, which he kept a secret. He had nothing personal to gain from it. He secured the constitutional rights of the largest minority of India forever. We didn't want to live under only a mere change of Masters.
India even kept lord mountbatten as their governor general and kept Lockhart as commander-in-chief of Indian army British after "independence"!! Maskebaaz Hindu nation! That is how you got favoured in partition, they gave you Muslim majority Gurdaspur to give you at least one land route to Kashmir. That is how disconnected kashmir had always been from Hindu majority areas!
Jinnah was a man of dignity and he saw what Hindu leaders' long term strategy was. Where a Muslim Indian will have to spend his entire life proving loyalty and nothing would be enough.
Look at India today. UN has called it the most dangerous place for minorities in the world!
We never take our freedom for granted and can never forget those who sacrificed their everything for our independence, from British and the Hindus.

Oy, I know I'm probably not gonna get a response, but would rebooting Walking With Dinosaurs be too much to ask? Because at this point, dinosaurs and their contemporaries are portrayed as mere monsters and not animals, with excessively violent imagery. The state of Paleo-documentaries is pretty sad to say the least. Plus, it's been almost two decades since WWD's release. Information has changed and the public should get to know. With recent video games such as _Saurian_ and _Prehistoric Kingdom_ featuring accurate, well designed dinosaurs, I think it's time television did the same. Plus, one of the most beloved dinosaur medias of all time getting a reboot? That would definitely catch the attention of viewers and could even boost ratings. I'm telling ya, that wouldn't be such a bad idea. Just. give it good shots, realistic puppets and CG, a compelling narrative, and accurate information, and this could be a really amazing series.

@SAMURAI 武士 No. The Congress was chiefly responsible for this. Do not forget Khilafat - it was only a conference at first. Gandhi and the Congress turned it into a movement. It had nothing to do with Indian nationalism. In the Khilafat, the Muslims were mobilized on religious grounds and their allegiance was pledged not to India but to an extraterritorial entity, namely, the caliph. Ever since, it was nigh-impossible to pledge Muslim allegiance to India until Partition.

India should have been independent but it could not have been handled worse. I guess the empire didn't see much point is wasting time, recources and money doing it properly.

So this archive film is of constricted realities of india somehow curtailed and shortened into a time frame of events recurring in of history. So india its students are taught this and that that india got freedom in 1947 and before that the history was black and white. And later discoveries were made and science technology progressed. But since 1600 a.d. some scenes are missing, as if indira gandhi and her aggressor sikh regiment of kamptee school nagpur were already involved in some mass killings of 1730s of bombay india atrocities done to change manipulate some things to get indian government acquisition and to fall of royalty states and families. So that time too coca cola tv fridge was there....bollywood was also there. And these are infact teesra janam of indira gandhi of her life cycle....in 1730s. And there were many people at that time with her they in 1975 were wearing school dress in nagpur schools. So these were the real terrorists minds of india of their teesra janam, in their dusra janam they were already married and had children. And in fourth janam they reversed aged and acted dumb like innocent ignorant people celebrating independence republic days. So these people saw 80 years lifetime one janam in 1600, then in 1700, then in 1800, then in 1900 and again they want to enjoy illegal life without shame.....in 2020 to 2099....and again in 2120 they would wear school dress and group in kamptee school with body cover n name changed....reversed aged with their childrens or others children taken as adopted......
So only muslims of south bombay and infinx midc INC office they were only doing satyagraha morcha? and no hindus?
so how many years this constriction program of bombay would see people from all walks of life of years pertaining 1650s on one week, then next weeks 1750s people came, then next weeks 1850s people came and next weeks 1950s people came...this is insanity, as there is no continuity in people seen again and again......??? so when would freedom be attained from all this?
so are there tunnels somewhere above in pakistan iran above provinces there these people of india hide themselves when the above times stops and next janam also stops. So if ptolemi above planets as written in bhagvad gita shlokas, the above penance spaceships are used programmed to sort out all the weird people unlike mindedness and taken them to settle in near some lands near syria provinces above, and given banks, houses, cars everything, and they make their governments and their society and their leaders. And do not return to india. So half of the population of india would had gone there.

There are some more facts I like you to be aware of about India perhaps you are not aware of them ,
Sanatan dharma has been looking after interest of good muslims from the beginning of your religion, we have been always compassionate to muslims but the same is not happening in Pakistan and Bangladesh where even minority muslims right are being suppressed. Dont forget that Prophet Mohammed kins were not killed by hindus or jews they were killed by muslims and a Hindu king had promised shelter and refuge to them when Hassan and Hussain were being persecuted in Arabia.
Not only non-muslims are there in Middle East, but also Muslims are there in secular countries of the world and they are given much more freedom then the non-muslims getting freedom in Saudi and UAE. In USA, Europe, India all secular countries give freedom to muslims which the muslims enjoy but do not reciprocate to non-muslims in Saudi Arabia. UAE and Bahrain and Oman are exceptions but still even in these countries a non muslims cannot do what liberty enjoyed by muslim in non-muslims secular countries. If you like I can give you stats and numbers with facts.
Meanwhile there are some more facts I like you to be aware of about India perhaps you are not aware of them ,
    1. India and Pakistan were divided based on religion, yet it was hindu majority they had option to create a hindu country (dont forget Pakistan became Islamic state, but today there is nothing islamic about pakistan ) but they created a secular constitution that allowed all Indian including minorities to practice their religion with full freedom, unlike pakistan were minorities were exterminated the same did not happen in India.
    2. It was hindustan where a hindu king build the earliest mosque in 7th century so that the arab traders could rest and pray.
    3. It was hindustan where distressed zorastrians and rohingya muslims got refuge while most muslim countries did not take them.
4.It was maulana azad who said he will not contest election from muslim majority constituency because he wanted to represent Indians not muslims. We love muslims like Maulana Azad, we feel he is part of hindustan culture as much as we are.
    5. it is hindu majority parliament that approved haj subsidy to continue for muslims minority of India post independence, even hindus in India dont get pilgrimage subidy. Do you even know how much 1000 crores are spent on muslim haj subsidy in India, even muslim countries including Pakistan does give haj subsidy.
    6. it was abdul ghaffar khan who was jailed in Pakistan soon after partition. We love muslims like bachaa khan or frontier gandhi, we feel he is part of hindustan culture as much as we are.
7.Are you forgetting that Indian muslims who went to pakistan became muhajirs and continue to fight for their rights in pakistan.
    8. Have forgotten that it was pakistan who killed 4 million Bangladeshis including muslims in 1971.
    9. it was hindu majority who allows muslims to build mosque freely in India even after partition, there are 3 lakh new mosques in India after 1947.
    10. it is a hindu majority India where muslim actors and musicians are getting famous because hindus film/ music fans dont think same way you think. In a hindu majority country the 3 khans are top of the charts and AR Rahman the most prefered musician.
    11. it was a hindu Vikram Sarabai who was mentor to Abdul Kalam who made India proud. We love muslims like Abdul Kalam, we feel he is part of hindustan culture as much as we are. The whole nation wept when he died.
    12. Dont ever forget that it was a hindu king Raja dahir who had given shelter to the family of Imam Hussain. did you know pakistani considers mohammed bin qasim as their hero who was sent to kill Imam hussain's family who was in shelter under raja dahir. check out muhammad bin qasim uncle who was governor of iraq was enemy of prophet family, you might want to research on the history of hijaj bin yusuf. Yet on national television we have Imams in India who support Mohammed bin Qassim and Taimur.
13, it pakistanis who are killing muslims in balochistan, and in 1971 they killed bangladesh muslims and hindus, it is pakistan who sent taliban in afghanistan to kill muslims there.
    14. Dont ever forget that when RSS went to help Kashmiris during the earthquake it did not ask anyone their religion before helping them yet pakistan when it sent aid to Nepal a hindu country it sent them beef packets which was only intended to help muslim victims knowing very well that hindu Nepalis dont eat beef. Its very clear you have a lot to learn about india. Pakistan curriculum teaches hatred and in such conditioned environment you could not have access to facts and history to understand right from wrong.
