Unbox & Set Up HP Deskjet 2700 Printer Series, Review !!

- This video tutorial reviews the step-by-step method to unbox and set up the HP Deskjet 2700 printer series. You also learn how to do WIFI Set Up, Wi-Fi Direct Set Up, Wireless Scanning, Wireless Printing & 2- sided copy. This also works for HP Deskjet 2720, 2721, 2722, 2723, 2724, 2725, 2726, 2732, 2752 , 2755, 2775, 2776 All-In-One Printers.
Follow these steps-
- Open the printer box and take all items out carefully
Take black and color setup ink cartridges out of packets
- Carefully remove the piece of tape from printer it can be one or more blue tapes.
-Plug the power cord one end in printer and one to electric supply.
- Open paper tray at rear and insert the a4size papers.
- switch on the printer and open the ink cartridge chamber door.
- Install the ink cartridges one by one in correct position.
- Printer will print ink cartridge alignment page and put it on scanner bed facing downwards and press the copy button.
- Wait for printer to scan page and its ready.
Wi-Fi Set Up-
-Now enter the printer into the setup mode press and hold cancel and wireless button for 3 seconds. Once blue light starts to flash , go to android device and open the HP Smart app.
-Add printer here and connect it to WIFI network. See video for details.
WIFI Direct Set Up-
-Activate the WIFI direct by switching off wireless blue light. Press I button on printer and it will print printer info page.
-Look for printer WIFI Direct password here under WIFI Direct section.
- Open WIFI network of smartphone and connect with HP Direct 2700 series printer.
- Open HP Smart app and add printer there.
- Do wireless scanning and printing.

I spent two hours trying to figure it out with the "instructions" HP gave. I found this video and literally got it set up within the first 3 minutes of this video! Thank you so much!
I had similar problems. They always seem to state the obvious, at length and ignore the complex!

@@Sciencedgofood it has not been convenient for me. I can't even get it to work with my pc so I use it with my phone instead. No wires are provided so you're left with wireless interaction only. Quality per copy is average.
By trying to to make something innovative and modern they made a printer hard to use. I don’t like that it needs the smartphone for everything, why? Why I can’t simply connect the printer to the computer just like that.

I'm soooo disappointed in HP! This is just absolutely unprofessional and definitely not a valid piece of merchandise. I want my money back, plus some for this three weeks of stress! There is absolutely no instructions with the printer at all. What business does this?

I think my wi-fi just doesn't want to connect the printer. I tried everything and it only prints from mobile data. I'm happy he is at least printing, but I'll probably have to ask a professional about my internet connection.
Do no buy this printer it is rubbish. Owned one one day it was faulty. Spent good money taking it to BCC computers. They installed drivers. And paid for USB cable. Wifi useless. Will not print rang up help desk. It is rubbish. Ink is not full. Won't print. Goes to E default. Had to return it. Bought is a Winchelsea po. Don't waste your money. Instructions are in Chinese. Rubbish

OMG how difficult is it to set up a HP printer using HP's instructions this nearly went thru the window my language was blue, thank god for this video it takes seconds to set up its working perfectly now and a great printer Thanks
Thank you so much. I had been trying to deal with hp tech support & was getting no place. This answered my very simple, straightforward questions they couldn’t answer. HP is notoriously useless on customer support for at least a decade but I didn’t realize that. Had this video not helped I was going to pack it up & send it back to Walmart. I probably should do that anyway. Thanks again.

Sir no ink test paper came in the box. Okay so if anyone doesn't have the paper ink test just follow his step skip that part once you print a page or so it will print the ink test paper for you.

The application is keeping searching for a printer and never showed me "NO PRINTER FOUND" I don't know how to connect it to WIFI

I legit don't know what i'm doing wrong. it says that there's no tri color ink in the cartridge, but the cartridges are brand new! They came with the printer. I can't even scan anything,

If it won't connect to network, Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on printer for 5 seconds, go to router and press the wps button for 5 seconds, after approx 3 minutes the Wi-Fi button will stop blinking on the printer and will be connected to network, download HP Smart and install printer from there. Worst printer ever. It is always some fault with it. No connection, printer not available and so on. You need to log in and create some account for any printing or simple copying. What vaste of money.

I got an error "The network is unsupported. Please use another network for printer set up"
The printer was correctly connecting the right wifi (my hotel / building) which does not require a password?
