I love this video!!! I worked in law enforcement for over 20yrs; it was HIGHLY stressful!!! My doctor kept saying my labs was showing my body was highly acidic, all she told me to do was drink more water. I worked out, I drank a lot of water, I did ACV because i was told through social media or just people like my elders that once I drank the ACV it turned alkaline. I ached terribly even though I worked out and ate semi-healthy. Long story short, I medically retired a few years ago, diagnosed with arthritis, sjogren syndrome, osteoporosis, and last year CANCER!! I was so hurt and angered because I felt that my body betrayed me because I ate pretty healthy, no soda, took vitamins, really no sweets!!! The Bible says people perish from a lack of knowledge!!! STRESS, ACV, STRESS, PACKAGED FOODS, AND STRESS affected my health; I'm 54 years old, beat cancer last year, suffering with effects from chemo and radiation this year but thank God for my friend Cynthia who introduced me to you, I appreciate you doc, God bless you ❤️

Bless you brother. When it comes to holistic healing/testament/medicine / hethcare it blows the western doctors and western healthcare out of the window. I know I am speaking from experience. The "doctors" themselves are brianwashed. Always go the holistic way. Like Ayurveda TCM NATUREPATHY HOMEPATHY etc

The mentioned study says that the lady was having 8oz (1 cup) of apple cider vinegar a day. Most people will only have around 1 tblsp with a glass of water. Would this small amount really have an effect on depleting potassium so severely? Maybe in high amounts Apple Cider Vinegar could have a negative effect on the body, however that would be the case ingesting too much of anything. Listen to your body, especially when there’s so much conflicting information out there

I agree. Drinking a large amount of water too quickly can land you in the ER also. That woman was drinking a lot.
Your stomach doesn’t always have a low pH. It usually drops low after eating, especially eating protein. Taking a diluted teaspoon when waking (no food in the stomach) and with intermittent fasting still works. I use it in the morning because I only eat between 12 and 5, to lose weight.

Thanks for the information! This makes so much since. As you described the side effects of consuming ACV I began to understand why family members have HBP, have to take potassium, rheumatoid arthritis, loss of healthy teeth, etc due to regularly cooking with ACV in a lot of their food for years.
It also explains some of my own issues with healthy teeth and other issues bc I too once consumed the same foods.
I began transitioning to plant based about 4 months ago and drinking alkalized, now spring water. I have lost weight, I don't have the same digestive and mood issues. The better I get at learning how to eat plant based the better I feel and look.
Please keep the videos coming! They are very informative and as a health conscious person I've always sought real solutions and not just a band aid. I'm very greatful for the work you do. God Bless!

In most of these podcasts, it’s explained the difference steps that can be taken to minimize the damage to tooth enamel.

My teen was having stomach issues for quite some time. I gave him a capsule of acv each day for a week and his stomach issues disappeared. I believe people can develop a problem in which their stomachs arent producing enough stomach acid and acv can help there. Im not advocating for long term use, but obviously it has its benefits. What I was taught was it can be taken instead of pepcid ac or tums before a heavy greasy meal to aid the stomach, wheras pepcid ac and tums do the opposite, they deplete stomach acid, which then can cause acid reflux later due to the stomach needing to replace what they depleted. So I will take acv every once in a while if eating pizza for example. Otherwise I know there are other healthy options, but sometimes the acv is handy in a pinch. Its not something we take regularly though. So, I will look into this further.

Thank you Doctor Bobby for sharing your knowledge.
I'm a 64 year black woman. I'm not a vegetarian, but have been increasing my vegetable intake for some years on and off. I like meat and am more of a "flexitarian"...working on eating more fish and chicken, than pork and beef, in recent years.
Despite my changes in eating better, I've been experiencing various aches in my joints.
My diet during younger years wasn't good. I seldom ate, veges or drink milk for bone health as we were taught, due to it tasting like chewed fingernails to me... meats, sweets and bread was my go to, and I ate whatever chips, candy, fast food occasionally and drank sodas, which I no longer drink.
I still eat chic fila sometimes.... absolutely NO Micky D's anymore for some years now.
I've used acv in my green tea occasionally, due to having been informed that it was beneficial to aid in achieving a healthy weight.
If I ate a little too much pork and felt my bp rise, I would take a shot of acv and chase it with water... the bp headache would leave soon thereafter.
I stopped going to doctors some years ago, because I didn't believe they were really helping me and I didn't want to take pharmaceuticals, after watching many loved ones take them and they are no longer here.
I intend to purchase you cleanse to aid in my "healthier trek."
    Thanks again for you insights.😊

Everything in this video made so much sense. I had no idea ACV depletes our potassium stores. Several years ago when I was at the peak of health all of a sudden I began having issues with my BP. It was baffling and my doctor wanted to immediately give me a script. They are so quick to push synthetic drugs, but I guess when that's all they know they do. You see, I had concocted a tonic with ACV, fresh lemon juice, fresh ginger, turmeric, a sprinkle of black pepper and water that I would take a shot every morning on an empty stomach for what I thought would help with digestion. The way my life was lifing, I eventually stopped drinking the tonic. That was nothing but God. Last summer I started taking a potassium supplement because I was experiencing some leg cramping. My BP is now back to normal. Thanks for this video. I plan to purchase your book. Health and wellness has always been my passion.

The utmost appreciation of your sharing such critical points about the use of ACV, my brother! I've been caught up in the popular spreading of apple cider vinegar use, largely to folks with issues of Gout, Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease and High Blood Pressure... I ignorantly persuaded its use, not having any of the benefit of the deeper elements of its impact on our bodies. Now, I'm obligated to try updating the many I've encouraged, to hear your deeper ACV insights. Much appreciate your channel, and looking forward to getting your writings. Peace, Power and GOD's Blessings, Doc

This was an awesome demonstration of how not to take ACV. Too much is an overkill for sure. I would love e to hear you talk about some potential benefits taking the right amount diluted. The basic amount is on the Braggs bottle. For some, maybe less is better. Can you break that down also, please?

I’ve always thought of ACV as being good for you and helping to build up immune system during cold season and also for losing weight.
I listened to a few TH-cams earlier today just to help encourage me and remind myself why I need to start taking it on a regular basis. My purpose is to lose inches around my midsection. I was going to start tomorrow first thing in the morning, but then I came across this TH-cam right before I went to bed. 🤦🏾‍♀️
I’m not trying to add more problems on top of what I already have. Thank you so much Dr. Price you are a blessing. I appreciate you.

I'm so glad I came across this video even though it's a year later. Many years ago a friend introduced me to drinking apple cider vinegar honey and water. At the time I thought it was the best thing I tried to keep myself healthy. Then I started to notice that drinking it too much made my body feel lethargic as I was waking up in the morning. I felt drained, extremely tired, and my joints felt weak. It also never helped me lose any weight at all. I stopped drinking it because I realized that it is very acidic and my body worked better being more alkaline. What was I thinking??..lol

Thank you Doc. I was totally misinformed about apple cider vinegar. Can you explain if this also happens with lemon and lime water. Does those fruits reduce the acidity in the stomach as well? People drink lemon/lime water in the morning to reduce blood pressure. Please enlighten us if this practice is truly beneficial.

Thanks for the info Dr. Price! I have been taken at 1 cap a day of ACV with water and in most cases in coffee (I'm weird like that) and have experienced some of the benefits from it. I exercise and weight lift at least 4 times a week while reducing my intake of sugar. However, the H-pylory part hit home for me as I was diagnosed for having this. The physician told me that may have came from chewing too fast or eating old food in which I'm guilty of both. You're the 1st to speak about how it may be caused by consuming ACV. I will test this out for a few weeks by not taking it and observe the results.

Bobby, I have used Apple Cider Vinager in a few of my meals, and I did happen to notice that it helped with a fraction of my weight loss, but I will say that I haven't consistently prepared meals that actually call for using it.
Long story shorter version, after having watched a number of your videos on plant base education over medication, particularly, this one on Apple Cider, I can now make better informed decisions about which way to go with wise nutritional, non-wetesternized, traditional foods like this one, and because of your help through plant base, and vegan style culinary food preparations, I can see a way to begin creating a better version of myself now, as I look to a stronger, healthier body in the future folk.
    Thanks brah!

Thanks for the content. I have experienced the ACV journey (not extreme) but for what I thought was digestive issues (GERD) and of course who wouldn't want to lose a few pounds. But to your point the Potassium issue is important and I can relate. I have HBP because of genetics primarily and lack of sleep and diet. I watch sodium intake. But this opened my eyes to the fact that I probably don't need to use ACV for digestive issues. Maybe soak my feet 😆

I started taking ACV recently because of suffering from chronic constipation that even doctors couldn't cure. I eat very healthy, but then developed excess potassium and its side effects. The foods the doctor recommended I eat would double constipation. Plus, I couldn't stick to it.

Thank you for this scientific explanation. I consume a captul of ACV in a 16.9 oz bottle of spring water twice a day (first thing in a.m. and last thing at night), not for weight loss, but to assist in increasing stomach acidity to better digest foods. Now that I understand that doing so may affect the stomach's natural ability to produce acid, I will reduce back to once a day (last thing at night). Just for reference, I am a pescatarian, I eat only whole fresh organic foods (weakness is chips though :) ), I supplement with daily essential minerals plus vitamins, I don't consume any substances, and I am 5'3" and about 122. Praise God, I have no illness and I exercise moderately at least 3-4X a week. All that to ask, would my daily one capful diluted negatively affect me?

As I am a metric guy I just had to convert the numbers and was shocked. Did he really say this women took 8 ounces per day for a few years? That is 250ml or (roughly) half a pint for the imperiales. I put one spoon (15ml) of ACV into that amount of water. The woman used a 20 times overdose over a long period of time
BTW, warning about alcohol in ACV is like warning about more dangerous chemicals used in creating prescription drugs. Alcohol is a step in the creation process, but not the result.
Does it compete with anything he sells?

⭐️ Consuming 8 ounces (very extreme) vs 2tbsp is a vast difference. Common sense would tell anyone not to consume 8 ounces of ACV on a daily basis. Absolutely no one should take 8 ounces of ACV at anytime. To protect the teeth a straw can be used. As far as gastroparesis or delayed stomach emptying how much of a delay does ACV cause? From your perspective it would seem to be days. I find it interesting that you didn’t compare or contrast consuming 2 tbsp of ACV with the Mother vs. 8 ounces. Also as it relates to depleting Potassium many things can cause this. Why not also give ways of naturally increasing Potassium levels? I just saying.⭐️
