    Why learn Java?
Java is a general-purpose, class-based, object-oriented computer programming language that was designed by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems in 1995.
    Key Highlights of Java:
Platform Independent: This allows programmers to develop applications that can run on any operating system.
Usability of Java: Java is the most widely used programming language. It is present everywhere. It really doesn't matter which domain you are working in, you will surely come across Java sooner or later!
Open Source: The good news is that Java is available for free! All the development tools and the environment (JRE & JDK) that is used to develop Java applications are absolutely free of cost.
Android: Irrespective of the fact that you are tech savvy or not, most of us are badly bitten by the Android bug! Android is in great demand today and fortunately, you need Java for Android development. Hence, the importance of Java has increased even more.
Hadoop: Hadoop is one of the most trending framework for processing Big Data. It has been designed and developed in Java.
In spite of having a tough competition on the server side from Microsoft and other companies, Java is doing extremely well on mobile platforms, thanks to Android! It has also been the primary language for Hadoop Developers.

I would like to suggest that this tutorial is not for complete beginners who just know about the bare bones of Java(like syntax). Instead If you understand OOPs concepts already and looking for some revision then this video is Unmatched. Tomorrow I am going for interview, wish me luck!

Thank you, edureka! This video is excellent - it goes beyond just theoretically explaining the concepts with some generic real life examples. Really appreciate how you demonstrated the concepts with the code, makes it easier to understand how these concepts play out in programs.

I'm still a beginner like I know even less about c language, so I couldn't understand this coding exactly and your experienced typing was very fast before understanding a line you are going to another one, will you recommend any other videos for beginners clearly.
    - I don't know absolutely anything about java.
And I don't know keywords too.

Thanks A ton, It was much more than I wanted. I haven't interpreted in class for more than a month as I interpreted here from this vedio, I recommend every student to follow this vedio and see it more than one time to absorb the major concepts of classes and objects and the four pilars of Java OOP.

Thanks again for you great effort.

If you know at least Object declaration then I would like to suggest you two things:
      1. Enable subtitles.
      2. Decrease playback speed of video to understand better.
      3. If you are serious with learning java then sit with compiler(if completely beginner then notepad+CMD) and try to replicate and understand the working
P.S.- Don't feel exaggerated by technical terms, Basic Java is pretty easy!
