@GoldenEmperor5Manifest I wouldn't be so sure about that. Democrats do have a chance to flip seats in 2026 just like how Republicans got control of the house in 2022 due to the incumbent party not doing well. He won't have a supermajority. If you cut every single federal civilian employee that would be 2.95 million people. That includes the president, all his staff, everyone. No wildland firefighters, no Social Security checks would go out, no healthcare for the veterans at the VA and no one to pay the government bills including all those cushy defense contracts they are serviced by civilian employees/purchasing. So you would pretty much raise the unemployment rate by 2% and then watch as all the government contracts starting lay offs because they could not make payroll....
Government should be efficient, but simply making a blanket statement like that shows your either ignorant of the reality or don't understand how government plays a role in the country around you...

What IF he provided more specific funding for disabled children and adults than what exists now? 🤔 MAYBE your time and heart could make a difference in advocating for something like that and letting them know from a boots on the ground perspective what is truly needed and how it would be more beneficial.💜 I believe there is a lot that is broken in our education system and what I heard is it's his intent to fix that. I did not hear that proper education is not high on the priority list or that the disabled would not be taken care of. I do think it would have been better for him to do a more lengthy explanation as to what that looks like and why, which I'm sure will be coming in the near future. Until I hear the total plan, I'm choosing to remain open minded and will decide how I feel about it once all the cards are on the table😉 Please take care, stay safe and have a wonderful weekend🤗

He is a major with combat experience, Princeton grad, what else could you ask ? In his first term, he put “experienced” people in this cabinet and they all turn on him, making his job so hard, deadlock tbh.

@ Oh, seemingly that so too. I say seemingly, because America has ALWAYS BEEN much more freer than us down here. No country is perfect, that includes America… but we could always look to it as the guiding society.
Lately you have been looking like a mirror of what our own society looks like (some times even worse). A significant portion of my society had come to believe in the virtues of democracy because of America in the past… but recently not so much. People are increasingly looking elsewhere for other solutions (l still hold on to democratic principles… but l increasingly find myself being stumped in discourse with those that are pandering towards looking to alternatives like China… and BRICS).
I just hope you guys increasingly take care of the weakest in your society… in the wake of all these “new found unbridled freedoms”. Don’t turn your policemen into “Judge Dreddesque” executioners who answer only to the urges of their own agency.
