*FOR THOSE WONDERING ABOUT FIGS*
Figs do reproduce with the help of wasps, but you are not eating wasps or wasp eggs when eating figs. The crunchy part is the seeds of the fig. If there are any dead wasps within the fig, it produces a special compound that dissolves the exoskeleton of the wasp and absorbs the protein. So, technically speaking you could be eating at least 1 dead wasp per fig, but, you are only eating it's nutrients, not it's corpse.
