For those wondering as near as I can tell from my experience playing the mod your trainer level goes up approximately every 10 turn ins and thus far my favorite infusion is deep which gives shadow ball skill but the important part is gives your Pokémon hyperarmor

He should have used crystal lizard more. I mean the small one, lmao. And no, i'm not actually joking. Use Black knight to get the demon sage thing down low, then summon the crystal lizard to ensure that BK doesn't kill the demon, and crystal lizard runs away. So you're left with just yourself and the one you wanna catch.
Tbh I thought for sure Lobos would Master Ball the Demon. I don't think there were any other limited-spawn enemies left that he only had ONE chance to catch. The others had at least 2 of them for double the chances.

My gosh! This is a really creative mod! And it reminded me of my favourite RPG game, Exile II: Crystal Souls. In that game, there's a mage spell named 'Capture Soul', which first requires a crystal in order to be used. Once acquired, you can practically 'capture' any enemy, NPC, and even the bosses, as long as they don't have magic resistance, that would depened on your level, except on magic immunity. So, once you completed the whole game, in your next new run, you had an idea of which NPC's and enemies were the best to capture. And considering the battles in that game could have up 50 characters at the same time, those battles could get pretty hectic when low on spell points and resources.
Awesome tip for new comers to this mod. To DISMISS our monsters, we must two-hand the conduit and use its weapon art. My technique for FALSE SWIPE is managing the DPS with my summons by dismissing them as soon as their 1st hit lands. I follow up with consumable to get the target below 10% hp. Firebombs, throwing knives, kukri, etc offer safe damage once your target is critically low on HP. Sometimes we don’t have to dismiss immediately after 1 hit but timing is essential. Good luck to getting your target in an acceptable range to initiate your pokeball spam safely.
At trainer level 2 we can catch Hollow Manservant. This is the mob that throws the big pot & switches to a two-handed saw weapon. This mob is amazing at smashing very small mobs. Outrider knight also has low sweeps on their swings. Outrider knights are the frost knights

I love that a lot of these fights is the equivalent of Ash throwing rocks to distract the other pokemon in battle
Elden Ring has this as an actual feature now where you can use the souls of your defeated enemies to summon them
