Hi Matt, thanks for the questions. I think it is probably best if you look at the original paper as I am sure I don't fully understand it. The paper is "Rejuvenation driven reprograming in T lymphocytes" I will also add the link to the description.
My brain hurts - a bit beyond my pay grade ;-) . If what he is saying is true - seems like he's a Nobel candidate. This has a long FDA road ahead - yes? In the mean time, and for us seniors) why not just do the Triim-X protocol to regenerate the Thymus? (or use the protocol that D. Pascoe has testing?).... Richard; what's your take on if/when this might be feasible?
Hi Roger, Thanks. Ha! I had to spend a long time studying Dr Lanna's work before the interview to get my head around it. This site www.age-regression.com/dos-smacs2 has a simpler explanation. But I am with you, seems very exciting but complex to understand. RE: the time frame. We did talk about this at the end and it is a small molecule, so maybe availability is not too far off, but not immediately on the horizon. TRIIM-X does seem to be a little bit ahead. I have not spoken to Dave yet (the call got delayed on both sides) but will definitely dive into his thoughts on reproducing the TRIIM protocol.
Ok so to simplify P53 sends out sasp which some of which activates the kinease pathway in Amp........ Which causes Tcells that are cd4 active and they increase telomere length ..... So the de.asthma is part of that sasp? And Rejuvenated the Tcells first which spreads to the rest of the cells?
Very interesting. Rejuvenates the thymus, and sends out a cascade of telomeres to the body. All of that from a simple peptide. I wonder what the peptide is?
Thanks. I think it is in the preprint that they published. The title is "Rejuvenation driven reprograming in T lymphocytes" I will add the link to the description in a few minutes.
So it's a peptide that interrupts the sasp from reacting with amp.k which increases the action of apc, Which is responsible for rejuvenate the telemores of cd4 active Tcells?
Richard - the compound here being study much for immune function with respect to disease. But as all know the immune system important for mitochondria and full body function. Wonder if compound of benefit to healthy and to fitness for endurance and so for athletes young and old - would you know on this maybe from off line talks with researcher here?
Hi Michael, thanks for the question. I agree that the immune system seems to be a core player in aging, and the therapy would seem to be applicable in general anti-aging. We did not talk about the possibility of it enhancing performance in younger people so not sure about this.
Telomere fragments transfer may make some Unwanted mutations in DNA or make epigenetic changes, or even cause inflammation, we need to know that it is safe
Hi thanks for the comment. So a couple of things. My understanding was that the process Dr Lanna was describing is something that we do anyway, they are just reactivating it in senescent T-cells. And yes, that is what the safety trial is for.
super intresting stuff im currently on my own personal journey to thymus reg. The peptide stack that i am going for, carefully researched ofcourse. Thymosin alpha 1. great thymus reg peptide Ipamorelin, cjc 1295, sermorelin, wich will be my HGH stack, from research these 3 are supposed to be just as strong as normal HGH injections. BPC 157, TB-500. Regeneration, accelerated healing. Thanks to channels like yours i have been able to truly gather knowledge of longevity and health. :)
Hi Nicholas, thanks. And good luck with the peptides. It is something I should get into more and see if we can get someone to talk about it on the channel.
Hi Richard - very interesting a new understanding for most. At end of video here sounds like he is talking about SASP molecules? Thought SASP was more from communication cell to cell so SASP leave cells. But still inside as that is where are produced. So maybe same for the AMPK molecules with this both inside and outside cell? And his compound then enters the cells and reacts with both SASP and AMPK molecules and this cause this senescent cell to revert back to a fully function cell again? Thanks
@@AleLn-gj5scHello Doctor - thanks for update. Will your compound need to go through entire FDA approval process with the various clinical trials so millions of cost and like 10 yrs for final approval? Hopefully not as I’m in late 60s and maybe to need in next few yrs.
Hi thanks for the question. At the moment I don't think there is a practical application. The intervention is still under development. On the channel we cover both things that are applicable now and basic research.
Interesting quite a few different concepts departing from current understanding but intriguing nevertheless. What about the risk for autoimmunity esp. Since smacs are also meant to tamp down autoreactive t cells? Is the lifespan and rejuvenation studies published anywhere? Definitely would like tobsee the raw data!
Question to Dr. Alessio Lanna. Has anyone ever told you to stop banging on the table while talking ? And also stop randomly adding -a to the end of words ? Like-a this-a for-a example-a.
Why, has anyone told you to stop being so arrogant? Nobody forced you to watch the video. And if you did it anyway and want to give a feedback - learn how to ask politely. He is not on your payroll, you are not his teacher. Learn how to be polite, grateful and humble. Or how to zip it.

Great find Richard. I'd read about this work and was wondering where things were at now.
Hi thanks!
The peptide that activates the apc to rejuvenate the Tcells is a part of the sasp? Does the peptide still rely on AMP?

Upon treatment: Telomeres are re-extended which reverts saps signalling originating from telomere shortening. Dr Lanna.
